Not before you guys jump me just hear me out!! Something I've noticed time and time again even within myself is that majority of the things we want, the things we hate about ourselves, the things we love about ourselves, etc literally come from just what the world viewed us as.

For example, black girls are the biggest target when it comes to my statement. We have been brainwashed to believe time and time again that our ethnic features, our lingo, our presence, our aura, our skin, etc have all been deemed as "unattractive" or "ugly". Girls and even guys who have a certain tone or accent to there voice (I'm specifically talking about my southern brothers n sisters here) is seen as "aggressive", women with deeper more stronger voices are seen as "manly" that quite literally takes away women pure sense of femininity!! Our bodies, if your skinny your unattractive your called things like sticks n whatnot (yall know), if your fat you're unattractive, if your body is curvy the internet may try to deem u as attractive but then we go out in the real world you're now not only oversexualized but now your body is what defines who u are as a character they dont even care to know if you're nice or not they will judge based off your physique entirely saying names such as "slut" or "whore" or even going as far as assuming your ran through or something when alot of times that's not true at all. A more softer approach such as acne, having a big nose, if your hair is short or even if it's long but looks a certain eay(yall know what I'm talking about), you even liking a certain color now since it isn't trendy all of a sudden it's an "ugly color" be so fucking fr😭. Pink and purple were the top 2 prime colors that fit this description perfectly.

My point is this, I want you to take a realllllll good look at yourself in the mirror, think of everything you absolutely hate about yourself write it out if u need to absolutely every little thing. Now look at all those things you hate about yourself and ask yourself "Do I genuinely hate all these things about me? Or were these things I was TOLD to hate about me?" Soon enough you will eventually began to realize that a lot of those things you THOUGHT u hated about yourself, were actually opinions coming from someone else NOT YOU!! You don't like the way you smile? Why? Did someone tell u they didn't like your smile? Or is it your teeth? What's wrong with them? What's wrong with smiling your heart out regardless if u show teeth or not? Absolutely nothing!! Oh someone told you that dressing up in more classy attire rather than fast fashion makes u seem lame?? Oh so now u don't wanna be the guy that dresses like he's a rich and wealthy billionaire but rather something you know every other guy is wearing also?? What was wrong with dressing in a fresh suit or being color coordinated and dress to impress with your layers and your nice button down with the pressed slacks? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!

Hello everyone! Before I begin, I have to say I very much thank everyone who shared my story around. It may not be much, but it could lead to something more. Thank you for doing that.

Since my goal with my original post was to not only address my sudden unfair banning from the platform but to also give attention to other problems with this platform, I decided to give this operation a catchy name of sorts. You can call it

Operation Take That!

or anything else really. Hopefully that will give this movement more of an identity.

In other news though, I may have discovered some very peculiar bugs that affect the Youtube experience for me, and I'll show these in this post to give bugfix suggestions. For the sake of clarity, and also because I like old stuff, I will be showing these screenshots with CustomTube enabled. It's an extension for Chrome and Firefox that changes the look of the Youtube layout to older ones, specifically mid 2014 in this case.

First on my examination will be the home page. For this and other instances, I will be comparing how a banned user sees a page with the same tab but in a container so as to show how a normal user sees the same page. So how does the home page should usually look like? It should look as shown here:

Notice the sidebar on the left. Now lets compare it with the non-container homepage, and see what we get:

You can immediately see how the sidebar is gone. Why? If you can't login into a youtube account, why remove the sidebar? It still wouldnt let you sign in anyway because you are terminated. It is simply unnessesary!

Now lets move onto the watch page, and see how that is different, here is a screengrab of a random video I took from the home page in the container:

Again, notice the sidebar, but also the Like and Dislike buttons and the row of buttons from "About" to "More". Lets also compare the comments section, here is how it looks in container:

Great, right? Now lets see how those two look without container:

Notice how wrong everything looks? The lack of sidebar again, the misshapen Like button, the Save button here is the default one, the Share button has been replaced with a number, and the More button has three dots underneath it. Odd right? Lets see the comment section now:

Oh wait, there is no comment section here, because it's stuck in a loading loop! Again, why does this need to happen when you get banned? This is just unnessesary again!

Here's some other issues that I know of or found that I feel like need to be fixed:

The Like and Dislike buttons in comment sections lead to the sign in, unlike the ones under the video itself.

There's been performance issues for users of Firefox, including an intentional 5-second slowdown and big lag. The lag one in particular seems to be happening to everyone, not just me with an almost decade-old laptop at this point. Some speculate these changes were made by Google as part of a tactic to get non-Chrome users to, well, use Chrome, and see it as just plain being greedy. I think so too.

Occasionally, when I enter the home page from a watch page, the tab assumes I am logged in and shows my pfp and notification bell and all. I can click the pfp to open what would be the menu there, but is stuck in an endless loop. As well, the page im on shows a "Something went wrong" error. Very weird. That needs to be fixed too I think.

Again, please reblog and share this post around to not only hear my story but to hear my criticisms and suggestions too. I might make more of these posts to show how bad Youtube's getting as a platform. Also I am still considering whether to get a Boosty or not. Maybe even a Ko-fi if they allow that. Love how I took the time and effort to take active steps to avoid Saw gore on the For You page, and then not ten minutes ago I load up my Following page to a post of a woman with fenceposts sticking out of her and blood everywhere.

No community label for violence or anything. Either not tagged properly or tumblr just didn't accept my filtered tags and so did not hide the post.

I take effort to avoid seeing that shit, even going so far as to outright bypass the For You page, which is how I find half the blogs I like, just to find even the Following page isn't safe?

Today is better in many ways.

I am having a period. The pain was less than normal but I am requiring frequent bathroom breaks.

I was able to do some tasks that will make the evening easier. But I probably have to go to the grocery store which i wanted to avoid. Fuck.

I am fighting thru my workday. So close to the end, but struggling with system updates that fuck everything up. Annoyed at everything.

Walked the dogs as much as I could outside.

Got the mail. Did the dishes. Cooked mom breakfast. Cleaned 1 kitty box & set of puppy papers, mopped the floor in that room.

Unwrapped some stuff. Ordered some stuff from Amazon.

Took my leave of Facebook.-Now if I could only quit it for real.

My dog has been sick. Pukey. It sucks to see his uncomfortable.

I am working to accept the seemingly inevitable breakup. I feel like I have been holding on to a fantasy. This gal might be the best person I have ever known and I don't know why we don't have chemistry. We talk all the time, messaging. But in person, we suck at physicality and I think I am just at the point where I am not longer really wanting that. I struggle with it but the fact is, we suck. I just don't have the vroom vroom anymore.

I need to make sure that I am on my shit better. Especially with paying bills, debt reduction, and saving for my future.

I am it baby. No one is going to save me. Get fucking focused and save yourself.

Is it me or is the Tumblr gif search completely fucking useless now? Like when it first was a thing - yes I’m old enough to remember before the time of searchable gif engines - it was really good then like you could find things very easily using the tag system. But now since it’s been taken over by very shitty AI instead of searching the exact tag, you put in it searches for any gif that’s been tagged with any of the words that you’re searching.

Try it, type in ‘Last Twilight’ just ‘Last Twilight’ don’t add ‘the series’ to it and see how many fucking Twilight movie gif you find.

Oh, and if you type in ‘My School President’? Good Lord, the amount of Donald Trump gif!! Because the AI isn’t searching what you are typing anymore, it’s not looking for your exact tags, it’s just looking for anything with those words, which makes it impossible to find what you want. Like at this point it’s easier to just Google search image the bl you’re looking for and then type in ‘Tumblr gif’ next to it and it’ll take you to someone’s Tumblr that made a gif set of that bl.

In case you couldn’t tell, I’m a little frustrated atm.

Tumblr is such a shitty website that it literally crashes my iPad when I'm checking my follower activity. It resets the iPad onto the main screen, resets Safari, resets all the other apps, and logs me out. So I have to log back in to check my activity correctly.
