musselburgh for one of my roommates! I have 2 more to make (including this one) for grad school peers/roomies then I will be more comfortable to work on silly little fun projects like socks again.

I’m horrible at updating here but the brown musselburgh hat I made my boyfriend (before we started dating) was stolen from his locker at work and I’m so sad about it!! it was one of the nicest yarns I’ve ever used and I’m like 50/50 happy that someone thought it was nice enough to steal and sad that it’s gone

I have had next to no free time lately but finished this musselburgh and will hopefully be able to gift it tomorrow (sadly without blocking but I don’t have my stuff here)

update on my sock scrap blanket - I should be working on it more than I do but it’s fallen to the back of line

finished a cowl for my mom (can’t wait to give it to her) from an awesome free purl soho pattern

I started free styling ankle socks with a heel tan during my zoom meetings and have since finished one and started the second

working on my first ever pair of toe up socks has made me realize I am NOT a fan, but a cool skill to have

all the roommates and friends want hats by the time we graduate, started the first one (and was asked to change yarns) the last photo (pink marker and up) was all during dune 2 in theatres

Christmas Day I cast on my own musselburgh :) was a slow process since I don’t prioritize my own knits but finally finished it! one exciting thing is that after nearly 2 years of bringing my projects to the theatre, I actually had the confidence to work on this in the dark while at the movies with my roommates

I ended up blocking everything when I was at my parents for Christmas, these were both gifted to my (now) boyfriend

I haven’t posted on here in a while because life has been a mess but I’ve still been knitting!

I have too many projects to update as one post so I’m going to make a few over the next few days to not bombard anyone’s feed 🩵

finished a musselburgh on my train ride home last night and got to gift it to my dad when he picked me up

all my wips - last of the Christmas gifts! the socks are my in class knitting so not making a ton of progress there. I’ve restarted the red musselburgh twice but am finally in a good groove again

Halloween knitting!! while rewatching halloween ends (again) this is absolutely flying, I think this yarn is just working up so much quicker than the musselburgh I started in different yarn and that’s why I can’t put it down

one Halloween sock :) I wanted to have the pair done but just don’t have the time to knit much with class/research/grading at the moment. at least I’ll have a pair for Halloween next year!

had to travel a bit yesterday for some field work over the weekend but I got lots of knitting done on the commute :) I frogged 3 inches of the hat and I’m almost back to where I was
