|🩷| Ithaqua is possessive compared to many others at the manor by a long shot, and your adoration of him could serve as a source of reassurance for him.

|🩷| He’s quite entertained by your adoration for him, Ithaqua finds it quite cute and likely would comment about it from time to time, though he can be a little tough on the outside and wouldn’t be too direct about it.

|🩷| People were terrified of him prior to coming to the manor, and it’s likely people in the manor fear him as well. He hasn’t been adored like this since his mother was with him, and the feeling of being needed is bittersweet but addicting.

|🩷| You may notice him softening up at the way you look at him, allowing his walls to break down just a little bit, more so in private. He doesn’t want to be the type to show vulnerability in fear his life would get ruined once more, but the knowledge that you aren’t going to go away is one that calms him slightly. (Unless yk.. an accident happens in a manor game ;))

|🩷| Ithaqua under all of his emotional walls is a rather traumatized man who needs somebody to protect in order to fufill the role of a protector that he had prior to arriving at the manor. Your adoration of him leads to him taking care of you much more than he otherwise would, watching after you as often as possible.

|🩷| He does adore you quite a bit in return. Everything about you is just so perfect, how his mother would have loved you.

|🩷| As such, he’s willing to allow you to follow him around so he can “show you off”- but in reality, your presence makes him feel human again and reminds him that he can be loved, something he hadn’t felt in a while.

|🩷| In Matches he’d always refrain from harming you. Would you still adore him if he harmed you or another one of your teammates too badly? He rathers not risk it (even if you’d still like him, he fears being alone again)

|🩷| First of all, Ithaqua hasn’t kissed anyone before if it’s not platonic (like forehead kisses whilst he’s taking care of his mother.) he probably wouldn’t be the best kisser in the world the first few times. Once he figures it out, I’m sure he’d be a rather quick learner.

|🩷| Ithaqua, though reserved, wants the other manor residents to know that you’re his. Expect to be kissed in public. Not anything serious (making out in public is… gross). But he will definitely lean in and steal a quick kiss or two whenever he notices anyone’s eyes lingering on you a little too long.

|🩷| He does pull up his mask a tiny bit to do this, allowing the bottom part of his face to be visible. Though he does turn away from others while he kisses you to keep some level of secrecy about his face. Everybody knows he’s kissing you though, rest assured.

|🩷| I’d imagine his lips may be a little chapped from the cold, on top of the fact that there likely wasn’t much in the way of chapstick in his time period. If you introduced it to him, he’d attempt to use it if it makes kissing better. (It does.)

|🩷| He can be incredibly mischievous at times, and this comes out in full force when he’s kissing. One moment you’ll be kissing him normally, the next you feel him nibble on your bottom lip and snickering to himself. He has no ulterior motives, Ithaqua simply wants to see your reaction.

|🩷| All of this is not to say that he cannot be a sincere kisser as well, it’s just more likely to happen in private. You may catch him staring a little too long and the next thing you know he pulls you in for a gentle kiss or two.

|🩷| He’s totally the type to smile while he’s kissing another person. Sometimes it’s a more cocky smirk, such as when he’s aware that he’s gotten a reaction out of you. But sometimes it’s a genuine smile, he does truly love you a lot and does have a tendency to seek out affection from you. Because of this, he’s probably very easy to make happy with kisses.

|🩷| His protectiveness causes him to act much more bold than he is while you’re in public together. In private he’s much more reserved with his kissing and affection, since he doesn’t feel like he needs to prove something. In a way, it’s a glimpse of who he was before his life had gone downhill, the person who he hides under that mask of his.

|🩷| He does quite like receiving kisses from you. Ithaqua enjoys little pecks on the lips or cheeks from time to time like any lover. But little kisses on the tip of the nose, beside the eye or on his temples are ones that do make him melt into you.

|🩷| Starting off generally- Frederick seems like the type to be hard to get to know. He doesn’t have large amounts of trust for the people around him, and seems to prefer to be on his own. You’d need to put in effort in order to be in a relationship with him.

|🩷| He’s somewhere between pretty and handsome, though probably leaning a little more towards the feminine side.

|🩷| Frederick is insecure when it comes to his looks, often worrying that you’d only be interested in his looks instead of him as a person. You can compliment his appearance, but he might start getting anxious if that’s the only thing you pull attention to.

|🩷| Sure, he’s been in relationships and flings with many people before, he does have a reputation for wooing people. However, he’s never truly been loved by another person. Because of this, he probably is inexperienced in terms of real romantic acts.

|🩷| On top of his, his childhood doesn’t seem like it was very loving, and he may close up when met with physical affection or kisses for a while. When it happens, he often stares dumbfounded for a while. (It’s cute, but a little sad at the same time)

|🩷| He’s very fond of gift giving, though that’s largely because it’s what he’s used to. At the beginning of a relationship he’d likely believe it to be transactional like his past ones and in turn treats it that way.

|🩷| In all seriousness he’s simply not the most cuddly person ever, but will cuddle occasionally. Because of how touch adverse he tends to be you usually let him initiate it, and he typically ends up as the big spoon.

|🩷| He can make a really good little spoon too, especially if he’s the more submissive PERSONALITY (not freaky… this is a holy x reader blog for now!!) in a relationship. Though even then you’d likely need to pull him into that position after he’s fallen asleep, he’d be too embarrassed to be awake in that position.

|🩷| He strikes me as a closeted bisexual, perhaps pansexual. I wouldn’t see him being entirely opposed to polyamorous relationships, but I think he’d likely feel much more secure in a monogamous relationship.

|🩷| He’s a good kisser when he’s open to kissing, probably one of the things he’s the most experienced with in terms of relationships.

|🩷| On top of that he can be quite charming, he knows how to use his words to woo a person through past experiences. Though even then, don’t expect anything too bold from him.

|🩷| Frederick is decisive and can be quite stubborn, he likes to be the one making choices and can come off a little bratty in these situations. But truth be told, he simply wants to know that you respect his thought process and opinions. Please let him make choices from time to time, it really makes him feel more appreciated.

|🩷| He’s an easy person to fluster if you know what buttons to press. Public intimacy is a good shortcut to flustering him some days (going back to this topic. Whoops.) Frederick is pale, and there’s no way to hide the blush on his cheeks.

|🩷| Frederick strikes me as somebody who you would call things like “darling” and he’d enjoy it. You could call him “sweetheart” but he’d likely just be confused on why anyone would consider him of all people sweet.

|🩷| Due to his mental health struggles he’s probably somebody who needs a partner willing to put in lots of energy, but he’d totally give 110% back in return.

|🩷| Frederick can function on his own especially after being disowned. This comes out when you’re sick the most, he’ll make you food or drinks and stay by your side as much as he’s able to.

|🩷| His hair would likely be quite nice to play with, and with enough convincing he would probably allow you to fidget with it while he does other things. It’s the least overstimulating type of touch for him, and he’d appreciate your contact even if it’s only through that. :)

Thinking about MAG 101 again, specifically the line “He cared for her, he trusted her, and she fed him to me.” Like !!!! The fact that this story is being narrated simultaneously by the monster and the person being consumed by the monster, the fact that you can hear Michael Shelley in that line, and you can hear the Distortion, but neither of them can tell their own story because what they’re describing changed them so fundamentally that they don’t exist anymore in the same way they did at the beginning of it. Am I making any sense?

Oletus manor - General Headcanons

Extra : I’ve been doing a lot of fun writing on Freeform topics recently, and have gotten some fics to 3,000 words. Perhaps I’ll share them here someday.

|🩷| The size of the manor can be quite shocking to people. It appears large on the outside, yes, but not large enough to house over 40 residents. (I think the total is currently 43 at the time I’m writing this?). Inside, there’s some sort of reality warping magic going on (for lack of a better word) that allows the manor to extend as much as it may need to inside without it expanding on the outside.

|🩷| Hunters and survivors do reside in the same manor, but are divided into two separate wings.

|🩷| The east side houses the Survivors rooms, a gathering area, kitchen and dining area among other necessities. This side of the manor is significantly larger and more tedious to get around due to the amount of residents.

|🩷| The hunters side of the manor has all the same basic elements with a smaller size. Though they may have slightly larger rooms.

|🩷| Dual faction residents can choose between which side of the manor they would prefer their room to be in.

|🩷| In the center of the manor is a large shared space, including yet another kitchen and dining area, a ballroom, the garden and a large gathering area among others.

|🩷| Outside of matches, the survivors do not have their doll like appearances. The reason they look like dolls in matches is simply because it’s easier to repair a doll than to heal serious injuries on a person.

|🩷| I’d like to say that the hunters appear more human outside of matches. There’s no real reason for this, other than the fact that I doubt anybody is going to date a giant talking lizard (.. if you are I’m a little afraid /j)

|🩷| There are long periods of time without matches, sometimes there’s matches daily, while other times the residents can go weeks or even months without matches. They’re randomly selected as well.

|🩷| The manor has people from varying times in history, and each residents room reflects the time they were alive. Say there was a modern era resident, they may have electronics in their room! The rest of the manor could theoretically be updated with more modern items as well, but any updates are usually kept to the kitchens and bathrooms. (Televisions may scare the older era residents too much.. Ithaqua)

|🩷| The showers are heated by several water heaters but are unfortunately not unlimited. Because of this, there are instances where the hot water will run out, and arguments ensue.

|🩷| The weather is typically predictable and can provide the residents a sense of time they may otherwise lose track of. There is no threat of serious weather like tornadoes, but the storms can still get quite violent and unnerving for some of the residents.

|🩷| Injuries sustained during matches do not carry over to the survivors or hunters real bodies (hence the dolls!!) but all the pain that they feel during the matches is very much real.

|🩷| Unfortunately, the manor residents do get sick from time to time. This mostly occurs when a new resident joins the manor, as most peoples immunity cannot protect them from the diseases. But they are unable to die from them.

|🩷| Survivors and hunters can access the match locations when matches are not taking place (for example they can play at moonlight river park)

|🩷| Since everyone is going to stuck together for an indefinite amount of time, relationships do form.

|🩷| Survivors who had health conditions or disabilities before coming to the manor do still suffer from them in the manor (but in cases like Joseph’s, the mental effects of mercury poisoning are not as prominent, and they are left with the physical effects like tremors, weakness, ect.)

|🩷| Some npcs are also in the manor (the ones that lore has confirmed, like miles, or the ones that have been dragged in through costumes like Nathaniel. Im really desperate)

|🩷| Food items and other necessities such as hygiene products are refilled or restocked whenever needed.

|🩷| Each room comes with decorations of the residents preference, and also has a small bathroom with a shower or bath inside. This way, people don’t have to share showers.

|🩷| Wardrobes are not limited to just in game skins, but they are included in them. Casual and sleepwear is also included!

|🩷| Skins from other franchises are debatable. If the skin is still the original character (like Joseph and Emma’s hello Kitty crossover skins), then they are part of the residents wardrobe. But if they’re another character outside of the manor residents, it is only cosmetic (same goes with truth and inference)

|🩷| Same goes for skins from other universes, like Coa or Morningstar essences, for example. Once costumes where a character is reverted back to childhood don’t translate either, like blind spot. But if they’re adults in their once skins, they can translate and have effects on the mental status of the wearer, such as Joseph’s hangover skin

|🩷| Norton has a tendency to be a hot and cold type of lover. One moment he can be his normal self, and the next he’s mad at the world and pushing himself away from you.

|🩷| Of course, he’ll make up for those moments when he isolates himself, or at least attempt to. With Norton, you need to be patient and show him that he won’t scare you away.

|🩷| In his normal form he can be slightly possessive but wouldn’t act out on it too much if at all. He’ll exchange harsh glares with the person he suspects has any intentions of either stealing you from him, or of harming you.

|🩷| As fools gold though… he’s much more willing to get involved and use physical measures to keep others from messing around with you. Though he is quite intimidating, so his typical glares would likely do the trick most of the time

|🩷| In either form, he’s incredibly protective of you and couldn’t imagine what would happen if you were to get seriously hurt. How they would react is different, with nortons normal self hyperfixating on your health and getting you better. His other side however would likely take care of you first, but there’s no question the person who hurt you would be roughed up quite badly.

|🩷| In terms of physical preferences in his partners- I don’t see Norton as somebody who would be terribly picky. Though, if there was one thing he would have a preference for, it would probably be eyes. If they’re striking, they’ve caught his attention.

|🩷| When it comes to his love language in a receiving type of way, he’d likely be most comfortable with words of affirmation. Reassurance that you still love him despite all his imperfections is something that comforts him and makes him swoon all the more at the same time.

|🩷| In terms of giving, Norton would be super interested in physical touch, even if it’s small. Part of it is reassurance for himself that you’re with him, but another part is the rush he feels when he gets to hold you. Things like hand holding are present almost all the time, sometimes in a more possessive type of way.

|🩷| When it comes to PDA- Norton isn’t the most reserved in the manor but he’s also not the most showy. It depends on his state day to day just how showy he is, but usually it only includes hand holding and an occasional quick kiss or two

|🩷| Big. Spoon. He loves holding you close to him and knowing that you’re safe in his arms. (And In a sense.. he likely also enjoys knowing that he’s the one in control while he’s holding you ☺️)

|🩷| His favorite nickname for you is just a simple “Babe”, or sometimes if he’s feeling generous.. “Baby”

|🩷| When you call him things like Handsome, Love, ect, he’d probably take a slight ego boost from it. Expect for him to ask you to repeat it. “Just to make sure” he didn’t mishear what you said. But we all know he just wants to hear you call him Handsome again.

|🩷| Things like “Sweetheart” or returning the “Baby” nickname would probably get him blushing and a little embarrassed, those are his names for you, not the other way around! Though despite his attitude towards being called these nicknames, he does love to hear you call him all these sweet things.

|🩷| If he has extra clothing to give you, he’d absolutely give you all of it. Seeing you in his clothing gives Norton such a rush that he cannot explain. On this same note, if he could fit into your clothing I doubt he’d be willing to wear it, he prefers to be giving things even if he cannot really afford to buy gifts.

|🩷| Norton does suffer from frequent nightmares remembering his life from before he came to the manor. He tries to hide his weaknesses from everyone, including you, though occasionally his facade slips and he breaks. Just allowing him to cry and hold you as tight as he can is usually greatly appreciated, though he will be embarrassed about the crying part later.

|🩷| He’s not the best at comforting others, but if you had a rough day or two, Norton would definitely try his best to cheer you up at least a little bit. Things like attempting to cook your favorite meal, showering you with extra love and compliments. No matter what headspace he’s in, Norton will always try his best to get a smile on your face. You matter more to him than anything else at the end of the day, and he’ll make sure to protect you.

|🩷| Ithaqua is the type to be quite possessive over his partners, you’re the only human being he trusts with being around him. Because of this, he likely relishes in the fact that you’re so clingy.

|🩷| It’s almost reassuring in a way. This shows Ithaqua that you truly do love him as he loves you (though he might be a little more possessive about it). He knows that there’s no chance of losing you when you need him with you so badly.

|🩷| The only time that your clinginess could cause issues is when he needs to leave for matches- if you cannot handle being away from him for a few moments, it may annoy him a little. At his core, Ithaqua is a more private and reserved person, and he needs time away from people, including you occasionally.

|🩷| But most of the time, he does enjoy the fact that you love him so much, and would keep you close to him as well.

|🩷| In a way, he’s clingy as well. After what happened to his mother, Ithaqua worries something may happen to another one of his loved ones while he’s not there.
