Be careful, whatever it is you’re doing in life just always stay alert and be careful. We all get caught up in our everyday lives and don’t really think about what is happening around us and just how dangerous life can be. Yesterday I nearly lost my life in an avalanche at Mammoth Mountain that buried myself and my co-workers under the snow. It started as a regular morning working on the mountain and within 3 seconds, we were all buried. The avalanche had no sound and everyone had their backs turned to it, the only reason any of us survived was because a guest standing next to me saw it and quickly alerted me that we needed to run. So whoever that guest is, thank you man, you’re the reason I had any time at all to react. Also, to everyone else whatever you’re doing, wherever you are stay alert and be aware of your surroundings. Hot springs and geysers are some of the most amazing natural things in the world that you can see. to think that this is my second year living and working in Yellowstone National Park is pretty neat.
