The most dramatic moment during my Camp Counseling career at an all girls camp was when a girl got a letter from a friend saying that Zac Efron had died and one of her bunkmates ran out of the cabin and shouted “ZAC EFRON IS DEAD!!!!!” and the camp immediately fell into chaos girls were crying in the middle of camp and running around spreading the news everyone was yelling and the counselors had to look up wether or not Zac Efron was dead (this is a wireless camp so the girls couldn’t access the internet and check for themselves) and then get out a megaphone and be like “ZAC EFRON IS NOT DEAD PLEASE REMAIN CALM” outside of all the cabins it was insanity.

Exarch didn't expect his spell to summon a naked stranger. But it's a good thing that he got Thancred first. Figuring out what went wrong must've been less stressful in his company than Alisaie who beat the shit out of him. THAT would've been a truly traumatic first summoning.

Next time I replay all of Deltarune I’m giving the chapter 2 plushie to Ralsei. I gave it to Berdly on my current save and while I like him and I love the original Starwalker as much as anyone god damn it I need Ralsei to have a cute plushie in his room.

@raiseupyourbat I hope you don’t mind me screenshotting and posting your tags, but this is a really good perspective that hadn’t crossed my mind. I was also thinking possible Knight Dess, (the part right when they summon their sword and it looks like a bat got the wheels turning) but I never considered the angle of the tragic doomed sibling parallel!

It’s also interesting that Flowey was made using research on the soul and Determination from Alphys, but that research was possibly started by Gaster. And while we don’t know what role he plays in Deltarune yet, he does make multiple appearances during the Knight’s boss battle.

I’m listening to the ost of chapter 3 and. The beginning of Black Knife (the knights song) is extremely similar to Burn In Despair, same drum line and similar creepy (song between Hopes And Dreams and SAVE The World in undertale, when you’re losing badly to Asriel.) Almost the exact same drum rhythm and very similar sound design.

Is Toby doing this because they’re thematically similar scenarios of being in dire straits and unable to fight back against an overwhelmingly powerful enemy, or is he foreshadowing something? I don’t know.
