And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein

I don’t know who needs to hear this but, get up and try again. If you keep falling into the same sins, repent once more. If you’ve been lazy with salah, start praying from now. If you’ve given up on making du’a, start again. It doesn’t matter how many steps you’ve taken away from Allah, it only takes 1 step to turn back to Him. We all slip at times, but I need you to pick yourself back up. Allah sees how hard you try, your efforts are never wasted. Allah responds to everyone. He responds to those who never stop asking, who don’t give up, those who show Allah beautiful patience and a strong tawakkul. He responds because He is The Most Merciful and Loving Lord, Who wants to see how deep His servant can go in his tawakkul in Him. He will respond to you. Never forget He is Al Mujeeb: The One Who responds. ✨

Save your memories! Save yourself!
Advice from someone who lost everything suddenly in the blink of an eye.
Take pictures of everything in your life For yourself, when you are happy or even sad, with your family and friends, at your work, in the café you prefer, in the parks and streets you love, record the voice of your loved ones and your laughter together, birthdays, anniversaries, wedding parties, pictures of your favorite meal, pictures of your plants and pets, pictures of your house and every corner of it, pictures of all your beautiful memories as a child, and do not forget to document a photo album of you and your family and save it in a folder or cards. Pictures of your certificates, and everything you are proud of, Pictures of sunrise and sunset between your neighbors' homes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you envision all of this, be grateful for these blessings.
There are people "and I'm one of them" who have lost those things in the blink of an eye. All I have left is a photo album, and I bite my fingers regretting that I didn't take more pictures.

BE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR LIFE and take more pictures 🙏

وَمَا ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزِ
“And that is not difficult for Allah.”
This verse is a beautiful reminder of Allah’s infinite power and ability to do anything. It reassures us that no matter how insurmountable a challenge might seem, it is easy for Allah to handle. This can bring immense comfort and hope, encouraging us to trust in His wisdom and mercy, knowing that He can help us overcome any obstacle. 🤍

Just read a quote that said:
"Drowning in the waves of life, I still had hope because I knew His rescue ship called Mercy would always come to save me at the right time."❤️‍🩹🥹

"I hugged them as it felt like the last hug. I left to cook them something to eat. I came back panicking when I heard the airstrikes. I found my SIX children that couldn't fit in the tent. They burnt and became ash. I carried all six in my arms as if it were a handful of sand. I continued hugging and kissing them. My SIX children, my WORLD, they became the size of a handful of sand."

When you see a muslim woman you think she's oppressed because she's covered.
If dressing half naked to please filthy eyes is considered freedom, I don't want it.

1. ٱلْرَّحْمَـانُ (The Most or Entirely Merciful)
Memorising the Qur'an would be a beautiful thing, however, it has its challenges for me, as I am not a native Arabic speaker. Therefore, I have made it a personal goal to study (and in sha'Allah, memorise) the 99 beautiful names of Allah سبحانه وتعالى for the time being.
I think back to the numerous times, I have tried to renew my deen and be a better Muslimah, all for me to stumble and start all over again. When this happens, I keep reminding myself of what Prophet Muhammad ﷺ has spoken about this
“Verily, the faith of one of you will wear out within him, just as a shirt becomes worn out, so ask Allah to renew faith in your hearts.”
Constant perseverance and renewal of intention is what we are to expect in this dunya. It makes me feel so bad, looking back at the amount of times where my deen was at its lowest. Where it's at its highest, are few and short-lived.
And yet, Allah continues to guide me closer and closer to Him. How merciful is He? I can carry on with my life, turning my face away from Him, and yet my soul will yearn to come back - and Allah will accept me in whatever state I am in.
How many years have I been Muslim now? 10? 15? I can't even recall. And how many times have I fallen short in my duties as a Muslim woman? Only Allah knows. And yet, I am here, trying my best to come back to Allah. To feel renewed, to feel strong in my faith.
Tumblr media
And to think about Gaza, and our brothers and sisters who have been martyred. I can't even begin to imagine living their lives in such a difficult state. And yet, as Muslims, we believe that Allah will grant them mercy and the highest levels of Jannah. They are strong and steadfast in their faith, never wavering, even when facing the barrel of a gun.
When I think about them, my heart aches - and I'm a mere bystander. All I can do is watch. Watch and feel my heart strings being pulled. They are trying their best to survive, and all we're trying to accomplish is to reach our target revenue for the month, and binge as many episodes on Netflix - it all seems so shallow.
It could have been me that's there. It could be my family and my child under the rubble. But Allah shows his mercy in different ways. I am not as strong as the people of Gaza. If I were there...I wouldn't even stand a chance. And yet, they show their resilience in every single video that comes pouring out. Surely, Allah sees everything and is never unaware of what's being done to the Palestinians.
May Allah reward them immensely and admit them to Paradise.
