i also think so much of this album is going to be about how Taylor Swift, the entertainer, and taylor swift, the person, are no longer separate people to her, and she doesn't want them to be. and that's never been clearer to me than it is now that she's letting the entire world into such a personal, intimate conversation with people so central to her personal life. "the life" and "a showgirl" don't need to be antithetical to each other
