With a heavy heart, and no small amount of rage.

It's annoying and unfortunate that I have to make this post but I have to announce that this blog, itsdralicorn, will not be updating again, barring some miracle or twist of fate.

See, due to a combination of factors, including me streight up forgetting the password to both this account and the ancient email it's attached to and the disappearance of a feature on here that I've been coasting on for some time, I'm just not gonna be able to use this blog anymore. The only reason I'm able to type this message here is because I'm typing it on my old phone. This phone is the last thing I own that has any connection to this account and, if this is like the previous times I've switched phones, I'm not gonna have it for much longer.

So, I've decided to make a new blog. @maeshelix

Years and years of memories, both sad and cringy and stupid and happy and anger-inducing, are essentially going down the drain and it sucks so much. But in the end this is what's happening.

It is time to begin again ladies. If you care to then I'd be glad to see you at my new blog but if you don't then it's been a blast being your clown for so long. Hope you do well in the future.

Sam Smith saying they're going to be misgendered til the day they die hit in such a deep way as a nonbinary person. It's something so specific to the nonbinary experience specifically. I went on a date with a trans woman recently who looked a little sad when I got misgendered by the waiter and asked "Does that [the misgendering] happen a lot?" And I remember being slightly confused for a minute bc I genuinely hadn't registered the misgendering. I go into public just under the assumption that I'm going to be misgendered even by those with the best intentions.
