Quote
We are what we love to read, and when we admit to loving a book, we admit that the book represents some aspect of ourselves truly, whether it is that we are suckers for romance or pining for adventure or secretly fascinated by crime.

It’s not just coffee.
It opens its eyes, the dim light of the morning slowly seeping into its vision until it becomes a blinding flash signaling that it is time to get up. It must leave the warm comfort of its bed and begin the routine of another day. The beast growls under its breath, and sluggishly drags its body towards the familiar drip-drip that stirs a reassuring feeling within the beast’s chest. The soothing aroma wafts teasingly to the beast, as it slowly makes its way to the sound. As the beast reaches the source of the sound, the dark nectar frothing and dancing in the glass vessel sits there, waiting for it. In front of the beast lies the mystical potion that is the answer to the beast’s prayers. The beast pulls out a ceramic mug and pours the aromatic brew into it, the cold exterior of the mug slowly becoming warm with every drop of the potion that fills into it. The beast brings the mug to its lips and drinks the contents of the mug. Each gulp jolts the beast out of its state of sluggish irritation, and transforms it from within. With every sip, the beast finds itself mutating out of its unpleasant form into something different. It becomes human.
This magical potion is a gift from the beast’s ancestors. Ages ago, the ancestors stumbled upon some birds that possessed a strange vitality. They recognized a magical bean as the source, and realised that upon consuming the bean, they were gifted with the same vitality as the birds. Delighted, the ancestors realised that they have discovered great magic. They harnessed the power of this enchanted bean, and created an elixir that has the power to transform beasts into functioning beings, Without it, many of us would be trapped in our beastly demeanors, unable to life life as we do today. Our ancestors gave us the gift of humanity, captured in the nectar that is in our world known as coffee.

Manifesto: To the Daughters
In a society where from the very beginning we teach our daughters to aspire for the love of another, let us first teach them to love themselves. Let us come together as a society, and change how we raise our daughters.
To The Daughters...
Set aside those fantasies about a knight in shining armor, and become your own Queen.
Your life isn’t about finding a prince, it is about YOU.
Cinderella might have needed Prince Charming, but you can be your own hero.
Don’t go looking for love without looking for yourself first. Before you can be with someone, you need to be ALONE. By yourself.
Your first step is to discover who you are. Find out what makes you YOU.
Why do you do the things you do? Why do you like the things you like?
Find out what sets YOU apart from EVERYONE ELSE... What makes you UNIQUE?
Once you discover yourself, be yourself.
YOU have a perspective on this world that nobody else does. EXPLORE that perspective.
Take yourself on an adventure. Explore the world as yourself, and discover where YOU BELONG.
Don’t settle with an answer that you are not happy with.
Don’t stop until you can look in a mirror and LOVE the person you see.
Find a way to belong in the world that makes YOU happy.
You fit in the puzzle of this universe in a way that nobody else can. APPRECIATE your uniqueness. Embrace it.
Once you find an identity you are happy with, own it.
LOVE who you are, and LOVE your place in this world.
You cannot love someone else before loving yourself FIRST.
Treat Yourself to the very best the world has to offer. Be your own soulmate.
The one constant you can be sure of in life is yourself.
DON’T ever change you you are for anyone in the world.
The only person who gets to decide who YOU are is YOU.
Once you learn to love yourself, you can love whomever YOU desire.
Whether it is a prince or another queen, you decide who you love.
So hold that head high, and don’t let that crown fall.
You love for yourself is the most important love you will EVER encounter.
