“Nowadays, as consumer electronic devices demand smaller form-factor and lower power, there is a natural demand for them to be wirelessly powered, due to the consumer applications that require longer battery-life or little to no maintenance effort” - Analysis of a Near Field Communication Wireless Power System
-          Since the electric jeepney have a limited supply of power, it is very much beneficial if the NFC technology would only consume the least amount of energy as possible.
“Transport environment is one of the most logical for NFC usage. The payment of train tickets, bus tickets and taxi rides can be done, for example, with a mobile device with embedded NFC functionality on the go.” - Connectivity and Payment pp.115-120
-          In the jeepney industry, NFC would have a great impact on both the passengers and the driver. Passengers will just have to scan their smartcards upon entering and exiting the jeepney without much hassle. The driver can focus on driving since the payment will be given indirectly.
“While jeepneys are categorized as a class of its own, there are no particular standards
followed by manufacturers.” - Energy Security and Sustainable Transport: The Future of Jeepneys in the Philippines
-          Jeepneys doesn’t really have a specific standard may it be height or the weight of the vehicle. However, eJeepneys have standards and is eco-fiendly. With that standard, it is much more convenient to set standards on the way of paying.
“In case of people with limited movement and orientation capability, this is not an easy task, since each person faces special circumstances and has own special needs.” - Expansion of Information System with NFC technology for Visually Impaired Passengers
-          Most people especially those with disabilities may like to use the easy-way of paying by just scanning their smartcards.
“When they get on buses, mobile device can record and instantly upload GPS coordinates and
service-specified data to the remote server.” - Intelligent Bus Information Service with the Support of Mobile Social Community on the Internet
-          Instead of smartphones, the system will record the current location of a passenger upon scanning the smartcard then records the final location where the he/she will drop off. Thus, we will know the two geographical points and can calculate the distance and apply the standard paying rate.
“Calculating the displacement and not the distance between the points, as the path the vehicle is traveling need not be linear or a straight path.” - Microsegmenting: An approach for precise distance calculation for GPS based ITS applications
-          The route of jeepneys differ from each other. And unlike buses which have specific bus stops, passengers in the jeepney can drop off anywhere along the route. So recording the displacement of the 2 geographical points and computing it with the standard rate will result to a more accurate payment.
“Mobile phone vendors such as HTC, Samsung, Google and LG have manufactured NFC-enabled handsets as an alternative method of payment.” - New ways to pay pp. 32-35
-          There are a lot of mobile manufacturers who have already embedded NFC technology into their mobile systems. NFC transactions through may not be efficient since not all people have smartphones with them. Though it can also be an alternative to smartcards.
“Public bus service is one of the most affordable means of transportation by majority of students to commute to and from the campus or within the educational institution.” - Real-time Bus Location and Arrival Information System
-          In the Philippines, it is not the bus but the jeepney. Being affordable and most used by everyone, it should give ease of access and set a standard that is fair for everyone.
“GPS being incorporated into the transportation systems paves way for better automation and location based service improvements.” - Safety Alert Signaling Measure in Train Transportation System and its Automated Behaviors using GPS
-          It is quite beneficial for the jeepneys having GPS incorporated into their system which makes it easier to monitor where is its current location and when will it arrive. It can also broadcast the number of available seats that can still be occupied.
“Nowadays, batteries are often used as an electrical energy source for electric drives in electric cars.” - Simple Supercapacitor Charging Scheme in Electrical Car Simulator by Using Direct Current Machines
-          In electrical jeepneys, since batteries are the main source of energy for it to function, the desired functionalities should minimize its consumption since the energy is only limited while it is being used.

There is a common structure followed by the papers. Usually, most of all the studies started with an abstract which gives an overview of what the study is all about. Followed by the Introduction which basically introduces the problem to be solved in the study. Then the related works section, which enumerates some existing studies related to the topic. After that is the methodology, which describes the system framework and specifies the procedures to be done. Next is the evaluation section which describes how the study went out. And lastly, the conclusion which summarizes everything and answers the questions and problems introduced in the study.

Great Circle Distance
Since the Earth is a sphere, calculations are on the basis of a spherical earth (ignoring ellipsoidal effects). Distance is calculated by the great circle distance, which corresponds to an arc linking two points on a sphere [1].
 Dijkstra
Dijkstra Algorithms are for calculating shortest path from source to sink about as computationally expensive as calculating shortest paths from source to any vertex [2].
 Magnetically Coupled Systems
The use of electromagnetic coupling as a power transfer mechanism uses a loosely coupled system to provide power to moving electric vehicles. It requires tight magnetic coupling [3].
 Regenerative Braking
Regenerative braking recaptures energy normally lost during coasting or braking. It uses the forward motion of the wheels to turn the motor. This generates electricity and helps slow the vehicle [4].
 Supercapacitor
Supercapacitors have a greater cycle life, better reversibility, higher power, and rapid charging and discharging unlike the traditional batteries [5].

Virtual Learning Approach For Students
Three-dimensional (3D) virtual worlds are increasingly implemented as instructional and academic space for learning (Kluge & Riley, 2008; NMC, 2008). It is receiving increased attention by educators for their potential to deliver immersive and authentic learning experiences (Kluge & Riley, 2008) that were made possible by recent advances in technology (Bainbridge, 2007; Delwiche, 2006). With the enhanced visual and immersive virtual environment, virtual learning closely relates to real-world teaching approaches (Cross, O'Driscoll & Trondsen, 2007).
Because “students’ active involvement with learning positively influences their academic achievement” (Ullah & Wilson, 2007) and because “students learn by becoming involved” (Astin, 1984), it increases student’s engagement to collaborative learning methods (Ullah & Wilson, 2007). One of the factors is that almost all students are engaged in online activities which means that being connected has become essential to young people (Oblinger & Oblinger, 2006). Thus, seeking a way to engage students through their affinity for the virtual world makes virtual learning very efficient.
With almost all 8-year to 18-year olds engaged in online activities (Oblinger & Oblinger, 2006), being online has become essential to young people and connectedness to the virtual world is part of their daily routine. Virtual worlds also offer opportunities for more engaging learning experiences and interactions that cannot be easily experienced using other teaching platforms (Anderson, Hristov & Karimi, 2008). Also, the new generation of learners tends to be more familiar and comfortable using technology as learning tools (Proserpio & Gioia, 2007).
Due to the rapid development of the computer technology and Internet capabilities, a growing interest in virtual learning as instructional delivery platforms has increased attention and relevance (Linden Research, 2009).
