okay i finally got around to reading "Lover of Mine" by @sulfurcosmos first of all, it has to be said: perfection!! however, it's not the one i was looking for! i don't actually think i've ever read this one before but i highly recommend it, i literally sat down this evening after work and plowed straight through it! loved it!

here's the description of the fic i was looking for: "i read a bang chan x reader smau (i believe) gosh it was a while ago maybe even a year or two ago. the basic premise was reader and chan used to be friends and they both applied for music school i think or a specific music program that required them to submit an original song as part of the application. they became “enemies” because instead of his own song chan had attached reader’s song to his application. they eventually make up over the course of the story but i just can’t for the life of me remember exactly how it ends because i don’t think i had the privilege of finishing it before life happened and i stopped coming on tumblr often."

does anyone know what it is. i keep finding similar college au smau but not the specific one i'm looking for. maybe i'm making things up and it doesn't actually exist but i remember reading it so vividly. even a message or comment to say i'm not going crazy would be much appreciated.

i think i’m going insane — there was a bucky barnes corpse bride au that was written a while ago and i had a link to it save in my drafts but for some reason when i click it — the link is broken. i’ve been looking for well over two weeks now and i can find it and i think i’ve just made the whole thing up?? does anyone know what this fix may be or am i making things up??

heyyy so i’m looking for a fic series if anyone can help. it’s a fic series my friend recommended to me to kind of encourage me to read acotar — lol it worked.

anyway it’s a azriel x reader fic and basically azriel is sent to the day court by rhysand because of elain i believe and he’s basically exiled there. reader kind of as i think an emissary for helion is the one encouraging him to take care of himself, getting him food, socialising and hanging out with him, reader even tried their hand at training because he said that was his hobby. they eventually fall in love and have a picnic under the stars and it’s all cute and stuff. then rhysand comes to get azriel to let him know he can come home and he leaves without letting reader know. reader is heartbroken and sent to one of the villages to kind of work through the heartache. azriel comes to find her and they make up and it’s all cute.

i know that’s a lot but if anyone knows what i’m talking about let me know 🥰

heyyy so i’m looking for a fic series if anyone can help. it’s pretty old i wanna say and it’s got an enhanced reader. reader is a soul reader or something — the ability is hereditary through the women of reader’s family and i also think it’s a soulmate au. basically reader can see lines that show the different relationships between people based on their colour — i’ve been looking for it for a little while but i’m stumped. i thought i’d re logged and saved it on my main blog but apparently not.

edit: lemme add some more context: i distinctly remember the recurring theme of the breaking down of a wall. so reader is physically breaking down this mental wall that bucky has going on.

okay so i’m looking for a fic that i read a very long time ago and i can’t find it anymore and i’m not sure if the writer deactivated and that’s why i can’t find it or it’s just buried because it’s a little a lot older

it’s an elijah mikaelson x reader fic and it’s a series

all i really remember is that the reader was human, had a friend who was a vampire but reader didn’t know, said vampire attacks reader in one of the parts and elijah can’t help because he’s not been invited in to her apartment. that sequence is probably what remains with me most.

if anyone knows what i’m talking about or bas also heard of the fic so i don’t think i’m going crazy let me know

So he "bump" into her in a coffee shop with Steve, and they started dating, I think at first she didn't want to. But as always Natasha meddling in people's business kinda convince her. Natasha started dating Steve. And she give Bucky a chance but she was getting threat letters from someone at the same time.

Then shit hits the fan and she discovered who bucky really is. And obviously get mad, and in the last segment before she quits natasha AGAIN meddle in her business and try to fix things in the show. She quits. Natasha takes the show. And at the end maria was the crazy one hahaha she tried to kill the reader

And ofc she forgives bucky and they live happily ever after

i’ve been working on revamping my blog and i’ve been trying to bookmark and find fics that i love and want to share when my blog is up and running again but i can’t seem to find one. any help would be very much appreciated.

it’s a bucky x reader (i mean i think that may be a little self explanatory) it’s a fem!reader i’m pretty sure though i don’t think it’s really specified so it may be a gn!reader. the reader is enhanced with healing abilities but rather than the person just being healed - the injury/wound is transferred to the reader. The reader hasn’t told the rest of the avengers this.

They’ve been trying to convince Bucky to let them help him with his arm pain but he doesn’t want to be a burden until one day it gets real bad and that’s the start of the romance blossoming I suppose you could say.

Everything is going great until Steve gets badly injured on a mission, I think he was shot a couple times, and she hesitantly accepts Bucky’s plea to help Steve. Obviously this ends up landing her in the med bay but they end up fine.

That was so long winded but that’s as much as I could remember. I remember really liking it and would absolutely love to add it to a rec list once i finish revamping my blog!!

A Hallmark Celebration | Writing Challenge

This is a thank you to everyone who has followed, supported or even just liked something on my blog. I wouldn’t be celebrating 400 followers today if it wasn’t for all of you. 400 isn’t a lot to other people but it means so much to me. When I set up this blog I wasn’t even 100% sure that people would even like my writing or if my writing was up to par with some of the other writing that I had witnessed here.

Now about 2 years later, 400 of you are being incredible and supporting me consistently even though I’ve been away recovering and going through the process of getting a book published. Which wouldn’t have been possible were it not for the people who encouraged me about my writing since the beginning. All of you have been my rock and my support as a writer and I can’t thank you enough for that but I can give you a writing challenge.

When I started writing here it was other people sharing my work, giving me feedback and loving on it that got me to where I am. So I want to give back to everyone, whether you’re a new writer here or you’ve been writing longer than I have, I hope you have fun and challenge yourself to write something fun.

here’s what’s up

The EU passed Article 11 and 13. 

(Article 13)

So what does this mean: anyone who lives in the EU (I live in the EU that’s why this is such an issue for me) runs the risk of having fanart, fanfic, fan edits and anything else that falls under the fanbase creative product umbrella.

They are passing Article 13 as a copyright law thus meaning anything that is posted online that has a link to something copyrighted will more than likely be taken down. We’re not just talking posts here, entire accounts may be deleted due to this.

This isn’t just a problem for fan creators either, there are many startups that are going to be affected, other creators online are going to be affected. Even journalists and bloggers are going to be hugely affected. It’s a bad move for business as well as leisure.

That’s what’s up. I’ll probably talk about Article 11 when I know a little more about it, right now all I know is that is a Link Tax to ensure articles and content that is copyrighted and linked to is still gaining profit for the work they did which sounds pretty rational if you think about it.

I’ve spent today (when I actually woke up) instead of editing, backing up everything original I’ve ever posted online. As many creatives will understand, losing something that you love and have pride in is the worst so I want to make sure I have copies of them.

However, the fight is not over, there is a final vote in January 2019 and we have until then to get people/MEPs to understand how much of a mistake passing these articles actually is. This can still be turned around, we just need to rally together to make sure it doesn’t happen.

This is just me telling you all that’s been happening today, we’ll be back to our normal scheduled programming now that I’ve finished ranting. (It’s all I’ve been doing today honestly)

I haven’t updated in over a week and here is why: I have been working.

I said I was travelling last Monday and that was true. I had a business trip that was really important in the progression of my career and I had to keep all my focus on it. I just got home not too long again. I am going to rest this evening but I am off tomorrow, because my boss is the best, so I’ll get on updated ‘Without Sight’ tomorrow.

The evening after their first meeting, Lilah had a cup of tea placed on the counter waiting for Bucky when he had eventually wandered down to the common floor. He joined her in the lounge, they smiled at one another but never spoke. Bucky had chosen to watch some show, the volume low so as not to disturb her quiet reading and he presumed since she’d not said anything about it, it was alright. 

It wasn’t long after he’d first sat down that he’d finished his beverage and reluctantly got up to say his farewell. Sleep had broken through and he could feel his body start to slow down and turn off. Smiling up at him from her position, she wished him a good night and letting him know that she’d clear his cup away before ushering him away with a wave of her hand. She said no more as turned back to her book before he’d even made a move. The brunet stood silently in his spot for a couple seconds, fighting with himself about saying something else before shaking his head and wandering off to his room.

It took me wayy too long to get around to reading this but it was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!

My heart is singing and I can’t wait to see if she’s going to sing! 

Everything about this part was perfect. I’m so in love with it all! I love that it’s an emerald dress and it’s mermaid shape! I love how clueless both of them are. I mean COME ON their schedules just conincidentally get busy and slow down at the same time?? They both have a wedding on the same day??

Hectic, that was how you could describe the past couple weeks. And, to be perfectly honest, you were quite happy about it. You had had the past week off work to be able to fully focus on Peggy’s wedding, suddenly not cursing her so much anymore about having her entire family living in Europe. Anything not to be at work right now. Although your professional conscience didn’t keep you from checking your emails and adjusting Mr. Barnes schedule from afar, but at least you didn’t have to see him. At least not until today.

You chuckled at your phone, allowing yourself a short break while Peggy’s mom was helping her into her dress. You looked at your own gown, the long shimmery emerald dress was certainly not something you would have ever thought of, but the bride knew better, as usual. The color was surprisingly flattering for your skin tone and the mermaid shape did wonders highlighting your figure in the best way. It had been a long time since you had felt so good.
