What if Team Rocket got a movie?

With Jessie, James & Meowth no longer being in the anime anymore now would be the perfect time for anime’s most loved villain characters to get their own origin movie. The story of how two Team Rocket Academy students and a talking Pokémon met and the adventure that made them the trio we know. This film would be in 3D like the remake of the first Pokémon movie and is  set a couple of years before the anime started so Jessie & James would be shown at a younger age as grunts. (I can already the Lightyear rendition of Starman used in the trailer already and I wouldn’t be surprised if this film introduces a few brand new variants of some Kanto & Johto Pokémon)

I can already imagine the announcement video: black screen. Texts: You’ve watched them chase a boy & his Pikachu since the late 90’s. Jessie: (with echo) Prepare for trouble! Texts: You’ve learned their tragic backstories. James: (with echo) Make it double! Texts: And now… Meowth: That’s right! Texts: it’s time you learn how Jessie, James & Meowth met & became the infamous trio of… (a 3D render of the Team Rocket fades in the texts: the Pokémon: Team Rocket movie is now in production.)

I can also already see the teaser poster too, it being all black with the Team Rocket logo in the middle with Jessie’s hair sticking off-frame to the left of the poster, James’s hand holding a rose to the right with Meowth poking his head out from the bottom.
