“I’dd offer more, but I don’t really carry food around, not lately anyway,” He smiled. “Damn, that’s always the worst. Cause breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”

“Yeah, I genuinely like all kinds of food but breakfast makes me happy,” Lorcan laughed softly realizing how weird it sounded out loud.

“Does an apple count?” He mumbled, rifling through his bag and picking out the object, before handing it over. “Usually I just wait until dinner”

“Yes, an apple is more than fine thank you so much,” Lorcan took the apple from his hand and smiled softly at the other. Taking a small bite he sighed happily. “I usually do wait as well, but I got caught up and missed breakfast.”

“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all. I certainly never make it a habit to skip it. Though sleeping in that extra ten minutes does sound nice,” she replied playfully. Rose laughed. “Happy to be of some assistance.” Looking at the bag and then back to Lorcan, she politely smiled and shook her head. “No thanks. I’ve had breakfast and can probably wait until lunch.”

Lorcan eyed her closely before laughing softly. “I can’t help but feel like you keep calling me out about my lack of breakfast,” he continued to eat with a smile joking around with her. “It’s okay, I know I’m a sad excuse of a person sometimes,” he sighed rather loudly not being serious about the words he just said.

“Oh, without a doubt.” she agreed before slightly tilting hr head. “However, I am trying to get through this week with no blood on my hands.” Olivia pondered his suggestion before ultimately nodding. In all honesty, she did need a study break and what better way to do that then with good food and good company? Gathering her belongings, she glanced over at Lorcan. “Why so hungry anyways? You didn’t skip breakfast, did you?”

“I didn’t mean to skip breakfast, my internal clock decided I needed to wake up ten minutes before class,” Lorcan sighed loudly as he placed his case on his shoulder. “It’s okay though, I should stay alive if I get something small soon. I hope so,” he whispered the last part as he waited for Olivia.

“You’re welcome. Did you not eat breakfast?” Rose shook her head and closed up her messenger bag again. “No, it’s alright mate. It’s just a bag of crisps. I’ve got dozens of them stashed away in my dorm. I’m just happy I get to help prevent you dying of starvation,” she teased.

“No I actually woke up late and had to rush to class, I didn’t have time for breakfast. I should have known better,” Lorcan began almost instantly eating the chips in his bag. “You are a hero Rose, this did help so much,” he licked his fingers before holding the bag out to her asking if she wanted one.

Rose began rummaging through her bag. “I usually keep a little something on me at all times. Some biscuits… A cheese stick maybe… Hold on… Got it!” She pulled out a package of crisps. “Will this satisfy for hunger?”

“Yeah, crisps will work in keeping me at bay till we get supper,” Lorcan took the bag from Rose and smiled. “Thank you so much, I don’t know how I would have gotten through the day without some food,” he opened the bag and ate a chip happily. “Tell me what you want--I owe you one.”

Olivia glanced up from her work at the sound of Lorcan’s voice and smiled. “Uh- I think I have a chocolate frog in here somewhere.” she said as she reached down to rummage through her bag. “It might’ve hopped away though.” After a few more seconds of searching, Liv had only discovered a rather questionable looking jelly bean. Not wanting to offer that up, she shook her head in apology. “No, I’m sorry. Unless you’re looking for death by Bertie Bott’s, I can’t really help.”

“Definitely, best kind of death in my opinion?” Lorcan smiled brightly at Olivia before sighing softly. “Thank you for trying though, I appreciate your caring nature,” he shrugged as he looked around him. “We can always hunt down some food before class?”
