Possible. But the cast said that they knew and they planned for it to be the last. While I know they might just be controlling the outrage about the cancellation, I believe it's really the case. I've seen it happen to one show before, I think. In this case, the show was 'cancelled' because the story's coming to an end. Like, it can't go beyond this season anymore. Because come to think of it, before a season airs, they're already done filming it. The first 3 ended with cliffhangers and/or open-ended storylines, but with this one, they said there is resolution for every character, so it was planned. Although I'm disappointed they didn't announce it before the season started.
