Loving you was not beautiful. It was empty promises. Kisses filled with nothing but sorrow. Tears rolling down my face as you laughed and made it seem like a joke. I was drained. Loving you took every ounce of my soul. I gave my all. That night I watched you take every part of me as you packed up your belongings and drove away until all I was left with were memories.
Lovers turned into friends. Friends turned into fuck buddies. Once again I gave you my all but in a new way. I secretly hoped that your skin against mine would bring you back. If you penetrated deep enough, you would hit my heart and realize how much you meant to me. I wished that you would crave me until you just had to be back with me.
Of course that never happened and I was left with a sick feeling in my stomach and shaky legs just begging to give out.
