GUYS!!!! EPISODE 24 AIRED AND I KNOW WE ARE STILL SHAKEN UP BUT OH MY GOD I NEED TO POST THIS. (also where is GOL MAPPA you fucking cowards.)

I hope they give us an OVA for Garden Of light.

Okay so Banana Fish ended (and along with the last episode we ended too) BUT ITS NOT THE END. Honestly it warms my heart seeing so many artists drawing Ash and Eiji simply bring happy. the simple aus with our babies don’t have to worry about the shit they have to go together in the manga and the anime. I’m just so glad that these arts and fics exist. I just wanna say thank you to ALL OF YOU FIC WRITERS AND ARTISTS OUT THERE who with their amazing talent made banana fish bearable. (No seriously, what do you mean Ash died? Hahaha, he is happy in Japan with his boyfriend Eiji and Shorter is also there with them)

Watching banana fish was a fucking rollercoaster. Except the rollercoaster was on fire and we all were suffering.

Lol, remember when the first episode came out and all y'all anime only watchers got was warnings from manga readers about how the anime was going to make us suffer like hell??(I wonder how many of you lot took it lightly? BET YOU REGRET IT NOW) and just….how many of you all joined the BF fam after watching that kiss and imagining this anime to be all gay and happy???

The first time I saw Ash’s anime adaption all I could think of was HOLY SHIT.

And then we got a look at our sweet pure baby Eiji. AND I CRIED. I’M NOT GONNA LIE. And his cute BAMBI EYES. OH MY GOD.

SHORTER. WORDS CAN’T EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM. just in a short period of time we all fell in love with this human being. (Also, cheers to MAPPA for keeping Shorter’s hair)

DON’T TELL ME YOU ALL DIDN’T CRY FOR HIS DEATH. DESPITE HIS SMALL CAMEO WE ALL LOVED HIM TO PIECES, DIDN’T WE. SKIP MY BABY

Anyway I’m not going to list all the first cameos of banana fish characters because there are just too many, Yut Lung (I mean we all have a love hate relationship with him), Blanca (the first time he appeared, I had the time of my life seeing others reaction on him), Sing (PROTECC HIM), Ibe-san, Max (DAD!!!) and so many more……

My point of making this long post is to show my appreciation and love and just how much I am glad to be a part of this miserable, emotionally wrecked fam.

Though 90% of Banana fish was us crying.

Let’s not forget those moments which made us laugh and all the more make us fall in love with Ash and Eiji.

I won’t be doing justice to any of these moments because I’m too emotional and exhausted to find my banana fish files of gif. So bear with these poor ass quality moments and Reblog with one of your favourite BF moments with your fav character.

We stood by each other, ranted our grief on tumblr, praised MAPPA, fucking cursed MAPPA…..

BUT AGAIN I REPEAT THIS IS MOT THE END FAM.

Why??

Because the story doesn’t the end until we say so. We dry up our tears and fucking writte those fix it fics, the coffee shop aus, the AU where our babies are just babies, give Yut Lung some happy memory, maybe give Blanca his wife back, shorter with his sister and alive and happy, give Ash and Eiji the future they talked about once. WE DEAL WITH THIS TRAUMA WITH ENDLESS AMOUNT OF FLUFF AND CANON DIVERGENT AUS. (also I swear to fucking god, there always this one person in the fandom who likes to write angst and make the characters suffer, whoever that person is I will personally murder you if you put my babies in anymore pain then they have been through)

LASTLY A BIG THANKs TO ALL THE BANANA FISH BLOGS, who gave us daily updates, the cosplayers, the fic writers, the artists. I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR HARDWORK.

You know how on the relationship charts Ash’s pic went grey scale and his and Eiji’s line thickened?

I seriously love Gray and Lucy’s bond so much! Despite it all being an act, Gray still takes it upon himself to apologies to her and that look he gives her so cute! That little blush on his face isn’t something out of embarrassment or being flustered, he’s just so happy they’re still good friends. The anime did this scene justice and I can’t wait to see these two fight together against Ajeel in the future!
