[AC] K.K. Slider’s Return: Part 1
Stepping down into the the museum had never felt better, a small nod to Blathers before making his way down stairs to set up. He picked up the closest stool and placed it in the centre of the stage. Using the piano he tuned his guitar and strummed a few chords. K.K. smiled as Brewster entered the room.
“Long time no see,” K.K. says placing his guitar down. “Been keeping busy?”
Brewster nods as he cleans his mugs, placing one down, he prepares a cup of coffee. A few moments later a steaming cup is placed on the table. K.K. can smell it from the stage. Blend coffee beans, no milk, no sugar. Just the way he likes it.
“You remembered!” K.K. exclaims as he downs his drink.
“I never forget a customer’s preference” Brewster responds now back to washing mugs. “Your’s is also one of the simpler cups to make.”
K.K. went through a few riffs just to get back into the swing of things. It was not long before it was 20:00 and fans would be coming in to get a coffee and a song. The adrenaline was rushing through his veins. He had been away for too long but that did not matter now. He was going to put on the best show he could.
The minute hand reached 12, his time had come to show the world he still had it. Minutes ticked by, this was not unusual he thought. Many nights start out slow. Five minutes passed but still no one. He began to fidget, maybe he had not given out enough flyers. Ten minutes passed and still no one. On fifteen minutes past eight exactly, footsteps, gentle but constant. Someone was coming down to The Roost. Stepping out into the light it was the last person he expected to see.

[SW] Aruna's Choice Chapter 2
She slowly came to, vision blurry but enough to make out her surroundings. The room was dark, lit dimly by a glow from a monitor. Two guards by the only door and her only means of escape. Strange devices strew out across a table, too dark to make out their purpose but it didn’t feel good. A man, white cloak draped over his scrawny shoulders, stood up and made his way over.
“Well, well, well” his voice grated against her ears. “An intruder and a force user at that! We’re going to have fun, aren’t we boys. Now, I don’t want you thinking his is going to be a few hours of torture before you escape and destroy the place as you make your heroic jump to hyperspace. No! No! No! You see, you’re not the first force user we’ve seen round these parts so we’re prepared.”
For the first time she noticed what was keeping her in place, the bindings to the chair were keeping her connection to the force limited. There was no way to reach her weapon, she was trapped in a room which no one knew she was in and now a head contraption was slowly being fitted to her skull.
She forced herself to remain calm, think back on her training. Ignoring his insults jibes and insults she closed her eyes. She reached out to a tremor in the force, it was faint but she felt it. She focused her energy even more, knowing she didn’t have much time. The needles from the head contraption were moments away from her skin.
“What is she doing?” One of the guards had clearly been paying attention.
“Nothing!” The man snapped back. “These braces are designed to suppress all connection to the force. No one has ever broken out of them before!”
A mere second later the completely unexpected happened. A huge explosion coming from the other side of the factory. Alarms sounding, people screaming and panic on the faces on everyone in sight. Aruna grinned as the guards raised their blasters at her, ready to finish her, awaiting orders.
“KILL HER!”

[SW] Aruna’s Choice Chapter 1
Despite knowing the dangers Aruna couldn’t help herself. Free from her overbearing Master for only fifteen minutes she had somehow managed to find her way into the deepest depths of the miner’s factory. While the miners were by no means perfect and the council knew this it was not their mission and as such Aruna needed to be much more careful.
As she made her way through the maze she had found herself in, she recalled the moments that brought her to this moment. How she saw a small boy picked up in the street, screaming for help. No one did a single thing to help, most even turned the other way. With her Master busy meeting an old friend Aruna had been told to stay put and not to go looking for trouble. He didn’t say anything about trouble finding her, she thought as she followed the two kidnappers out into the forest.
Bringing her attention back to where she was she paused for a moment, taking in her surroundings and listening to the force guide her to where she needed to be. Hearing a faint cry she focused, trying to pinpoint the sound. It grew louder until she could hear him like he was next to her. Got him!
Making her way down the narrow corridor, unaware to her and her easily distracted mind, the silent alarm had been triggered. Guards were placed on high alert as Aruna, blissfully unaware of the trouble she had just made for herself, jumped round the corner and straight into two guards.
“INTRUDER!” cried the first guard, raising his blaster to be pointed straight at Aruna’s chest. Without a seconds hesitation, a blinding flash of light streaked across the darkened corridor deflecting the bolt at the second guard knocking him to the floor.
Changing his weapon’s mode to stun the guard made a second shot, this time, unable to block Aruna was hit and instantly slumped to the floor. The guard picked her up and threw her over his shoulder, picked up the dropped weapon and radioed the events to his boss. Receiving his instructions to take her to interrogation room three he made his way there.
