Hey y’all, a fellow artist kinda needs your help with something…

So, I was thinking that, since I have a lot of free time to spare lately (or at least that’s what I’ve been telling myself-), I should start switching to digital drawing from traditional drawing (plot twist ?!).

Tbh, I was always too afraid to go near the area of ✨ the digital art world ✨ ,but heck, it’s popular, people love it, I love it, I wanna do it. So if anyone can recommend free digital drawing softwares for PC that are beginner friendly, that would be just lovely. Also, any advice is welcomed, in regards to drawing softwares or just art tips. 🥹

RISE FANS! Please take note!

Twitter hosted another Q & A With Ron Corocillo, and he confirmed that Rise’s BEST chance is for us to keep up the love for it. Right now, the most important thing we can also do is buy the TMNT 40th Anniversary comic, the comic that has Andy Suriano’s Rise of the TMNT comic in it!

No joke, a series will ONLY ever come back if the fan base stays alive, if we invite more fans in and keep up the love. Even though Clone High didn’t do too well, it was brought back because a fan base sprang up out of nowhere on Tik Tok. Studios saw that that there was a demand and they gave in. Rise’s creators want to do more with it, and so does the cast!

In fact, it’s becoming apparent that Rise fans are the most vocal group supporting the 40th anniversary comic. Not just me, but also the image below, when I went to buy the comic and told the worker at the store that I was only there for one version, she said, “Ah, you’re here for Rise, huh.”

SO KEEP UP THE LOVE FOR THE SHOW AND SUPPORT THE COMIC! LET’S GET. IT. DONE! And stick it to those haters!

New obsession unlocked…

Not gonna lie, I adore old movies, they bring a sense of nostalgia to me. The actors, the backgrounds, the whole aesthetic..it’s just ✨💗perfection💗✨.

Audrey Hepburn is one of my favourite actresses and it’s so weird seeing her on the big screen despite her passing away so long ago..you will be missed angel, a beautiful face with a beautiful soul.

In honor of this cinematographic masterpiece, I decided to do a small crossover..so I present to you..

Coral as Holly Golightly (or Lula Mae 🥹).

It’s been awhile since I drew arms and a torso, so bear with me, I’m working on improving. Just felt appropriate that since Coral is a TMNT OC , crossing her with a fellow New Yorker that is Holly would suit her best, and I truly wasn’t wrong.

(I recommend y’all go check the movie out, it ain’t much, but it surely is beautiful and the storyline is written well…)

The ammount of joy this animation brings me is so unbelievably high and I am all here for it.

Ok now the actual thing I've been working on GOD SO THE RISE COMIC RIGHT. Future Raph having these huge fucking spikes towering over his head implies they grow, but in the show two of them have flat edges. SO I WAS LIKE,,, DOES THAT MEAN HE FILES THEM DOWN??? DOES HE NOT LIKE HAVING ALL SHARP EDGES SO HE TRIES TO MAKE THEM FLAT AT ALL TIMES?? Is it bc he doesn't want to look scary?? Do they poke his brothers when they climb on his shell or throw their arms around him when they're sharp so he has them flattened to avoid hurting them??? Those are the ones where they'd be in the most contact with,,, I then got silly with it and went hog. Animation. OUGH. Enjoy

He probably uses 12 in 1 shampoo, body wash, motor oil and peanut butter. (Going feral this drawing is too good 😍).

I was doing warm-up sketches today and thought "man, I really haven't done an out-of-the-shower-doodle for a long time!"

I am planning on keeping this blog up and running, not sure how much of it will be based on drawing strictly but only time will tell…

Until then, I’m waiting on the upcoming chapters for “Hidden Truths” (Y’ALL CHECK IT OUT ,ITS A MASTERPIECE OF FAN FICTION, just like the rest of her works).

I’ve been on this platform for ages, yet tbh, I never tought I will go from reading various posts to actually making one of my own , wohoo!

Before we begin, I would like to introduce myself as just your average traditional artist (for some reason, I never found digital art as enjoyable as drawing with pen and paper, call me basic ;) ).

This fanart is specially dedicated to @trufflemacandcheese ,one of the most talented and inspirational writers and artists that I have ever met (give her the love she deserves guys, she is truly amazing!).

Shiro is her OC and her designs belong to her, and her alone, while Coral is a dear OC of mine that I decided to bring back to life after reading “The Curse” (she’s a Raph girl ,you figure the rest out).

Truffle, I really hope I drew her like you imagined because in my mind there is no other image of Shiro than this one.

In the end, I would like to mention that ,if this gets the attention and love of the community, I will post some headcanons for those two (maybe for Coral and Raph too) ,I just wanted to keep it short with this post, cause otherwise I would have kept on ranting.
