The hotel in São Paulo was not only beautiful, but had the best service of any hotel I’ve ever visited.

I then flew South African Airways only long haul flight: from Cape Town to SA Paulo.

I spent 2 hours having brunch in Camps Bay and then about an hour at the BidVest lounge.

But an in-flight bar is so cool! Even if I was the only person to use it …

So much purple on the Virgin Atlantic flight! Teeny tiny seats with no storage, but tasty food.

The Virgin Atlantic business lounge is probably one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately it was too cold to hang out in the open air patio.

Dinner at Alain Ducasse was fancy, well made and super tasty ... but a little disappointing for the hype and the price.

My bed was made up, I slept about 7 hours, and had a yakitori meal (also tasty!) before landing.

After a ridiculous amount of fish the night before, I opted for the Western menu, and it was one of the best meals I've had on the trip.

The food and wine selection was also completely over the top.

Japan Airlines first class was just incredible. The seats were ginormous, incredibly comfortable and had a ton of storage. So much room for activities!

The lounge is enormous, and super peaceful. For a sense, this little area is about 10% of the lounge

I’m now at the Japan Airlines First Class Lounge, waiting for my flight to London.

I slept 4 hours and then decided to check out Shibuya at 5am. It’s like dirty sixth on steroids.

My hotel room in Tokyo was gorgeous, but kinda broke my jet lagged brain.
