A small PSA that tumblr is no longer only having issues with showing acivity, it’s also taken to eating asks at an alarming rate. So, it may not be a bad idea to message your partners and ask if they’ve even received the memes and messages you’ve been sending them through the inbox, because it seems like most people, unfortunately, are not.

Kyoya looked up to see he blonde looking at him. He instinctively went to adjust his glasses, his face falling into a blank emotionless expression. “Nothing Tamaki, I’m perfectly fine”

Tamaki was disgruntled by Kyoya’s denial, but wasn’t reassured. He knew there was something going on, but he wasn’t sure what. ❝Kyoya, you know you can talk to me about anything. After everything we’ve been through together, I’d hope you could trust me enough with what’s bothering you.❞

Tamaki tucked his phone into his pocket and grimaced, grabbing his keys and running out the door. He cursed himself for letting Yusei go alone as he got into the driver’s seat, not even taking the time to buckle up before backing out of his parking spot and into the street.

He rushed down the block to the bus stop, pulling over in front of Yusei’s slumped over figure as he got out of the car to help Yusei into the backseat so he could lay down.

       YUKI LAZILY  slid the textbook onto the coffee table in front of her. Clearly disappointed with how little  she learned. APATHETIC eyes met delightfully  charming ones, not acknowledging his gesture. She wasn’t one to be outright  rude, but she didn’t go out of her way to be polite.         ❛         WHY on Earth would you wish to                           ‘ get to know ’  me?    ❜

While Yuki’s unwilling nature initially threw Tamaki for a loop, he made a slick recovery, taking her ice-cold hand anyways and cupping it in his own.

❝I like to think that getting to know anyone who steps foot into this school is well worth my while,❞ he spoke smoothly.

❝You can meet some very interesting people, and, well...❞ He tilted his head to regard Yuki, giving her a sly wink.  ❝You certainly seem like you could be the most interesting yet.❞

“Well, that would be like asking why the moth’s attracted to a flame…” Adam admitted, leaning back against a stall. “With full knowledge that it would ruin our friendship, I.. I was weak and gave in to my desire. And for that, I’m sorry.”

❝No, no don’t be sorry!❞ Tamaki replied quickly, blubbering his way through like a child being scolded.  ❝I... I was just curious! I was worried that, well, um... You see, I wasn’t really sure I...❞ he trailed off, hoping that his nonsense somehow made sense to Adam, hoping that the other would understand what he was trying to say.

That, while it took him by surprise, Tamaki had been wishing it would happen for a very long time.

He took a deep breath, trying to reorganize his train of thoughts. ❝I just meant... I really do like you. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a while, even though I kind of messed it up.❞

Tamaki poked his head around the corner, scanning the area for Kyoya. Upon seeing him, he gently made his way over, a nervous hand running through his hair.

❝Hey, Kyoya... Is everything okay? What happened back there?❞

Kyoya was sitting outside, in the hedge maze. He felt like he had to hide…not that he was hiding, an Ootori never hid, he just needed to gather his thoughts. 

Previously that day:

Kyoya had been explaining to the twins why they shouldn’t bother Haruhi too much while hosting. “For the last time, you must pay attention to THEM not to HER. Unnderstood?” He sighed and looked at them as they slowly nodded their heads in unison. suddenly Honey popped up behind him. “He Kyo~Chan? Why did you sound like a girl just then?”

And back to the present:

He sighed “Why me…” Resting his head in his hands, he sighed again. “Why does it have to be me?”

Tamaki views Yuki as rather peculiar; she seems off in some aspects, but he’s curious to learn more about her as time goes on.

She is not susceptible to Tamaki’s charm; he’s worried he’ll make a fool of himself in front of her and everybody else and that he won’t be able to live it down. As such, he fears rejection; it isn’t something he is used to, and knows it’ll be a heavy blow to his image within the club. Yuki is a mystery to Tamaki, which is something that leaves him doubtful and insecure.

Tamaki has a lot of quirks the other hosts and people close to him notice, such as his tendency to make impulsive (and expensive) decisions and his suave tone he speaks in only when trying to charm somebody. However, very few people notice him constantly running his hands through his hair when he’s nervous, or how he licks his lips when he concentrates. Before the host club opens for business, he can be found in the bathroom, making sure his appearance is flawless, and getting himself ready to fit into this mold for the next few hours.

Despite his confident facade, Tamaki has a lot of inner turmoil when it comes to his identity. He often questions whether he made the right choice leaving his mother, and if that makes him a good person or not. This leads to him questioning a lot of his other decisions and his ultimate goal to bring happiness to others; if his actions bring joy to others, how bad can he be? It gets to a point where he wonders if he would still seek the same things if he had stayed with his mother. He sees that decision as a fork in the road that could have led to two entirely different versions of himself. Because of this, he’ll ponder at night whether or not this is the self he was meant to be, and when he’s lost in thought, it’s typically about who he would be now had he stayed in France.

1. On the occasional (and very rare) bad day, Tamaki will be extremely insecure, and it’ll show during club hours. He will seem distant, sometimes spacing out, but it doesn’t phase the guests. They love how deep he seems in the moment as he gazes off sadly at nothing.

2. His handwriting is a very loopy cursive and very similar to his mother’s, who taught him to write.

3. His morning routine typically consists of spending an hour sitting in front of a mirror hyping himself up for the day. He’s not even getting ready, he’s just talking to himself as he would a guest– “Oh yes, my dear, you look lovely today. Would you care for a cup of tea?”

4. Tamaki spends a good majority of his time having conversations with Antoinette about who he likes at the moment and if they maybe feel the same way, or problems he’s having at school, or gushing endlessly about his friends that he loves to the ends of the earth, etc.

Yusei, there’s something important I need to tell you and I hope you’ll listen. Please meet me on the roof of the school; go up the stairs in the west wing until you reach the top floor. There will be another set of stairs behind a door, they’ll lead to the roof. Nobody else should be up there. I’ll be there at 2:00pm. Everything’s okay, I promise, but this is important and nobody else can know about it. -Tamaki

✖ : a fear my muse has in dealing with your’s

I don’t know if this counts, but Tamaki is hella afraid of having to deal with Yusei after he’s fallen asleep in a bad situation. Like if they’re taking a walk at night, or they’re in a bar, and Yusei loses consciousness. I don’t know, I feel like despite being pretty fit, Tamaki’s upper body strength is lacking, and he wouldn’t be able to lift Yusei up and carry him. He’d be freaking out and not sure how to get Yusei home. I feel like after the first time this happened, though, Tamaki would start working out to try and be able to lift Yusei if he needed to.

Other than that, he’s more afraid of Yusei’s interesting choice in pets than he is of anything relating to Yusei directly.
