I’ve decided to retreat a bit from Voltron fandom, since I’ve got other stuff that I’ve been neglecting, so I’ve left most of the discord servers I was in and I’m not starting any new fic. No drama; I’m not mad at anyone. I’m still open to talking about Voltron, and I’m still participating in the remix exchange I signed up for. I’m just redirecting my energy.

But I still have a lot of bits and pieces of fic, including my Actor AU fic. I’ve posted some of it before in this tag, but now here’s a big chunk which I had fun with. Note that it’s not really in continuity with the other stuff because I made a few changes, including dropping Curtis entirely and bringing Lotor in. Also note that this is all raw fic, no betaing, no editing. You can always check out my AO3 account (Airawyn) for the stuff that’s ready for prime time.

Lance made through the door of the meeting room at exactly 9 am on his Apple watch. He dove for the seat next to Allura and pulled back so hard he nearly skidded to a stop. Someone was sitting there. Someone with long, white-blond hair that made Allura giggle.

Keith snapped his fingers and Lance looked over to see him pointing to an empty seat. Lance jogged around the table and slid into the chair next to Keith. “Who’s the new guy?” Lance whispered.

“No idea,” Keith whispered back. “Looks familiar. Was he on Law and Order?”

“Everyone’s been on Law and Order,” Lance pointed out.

“Not me,” Keith said.

“Not yet,” Lance replied. Shiro had played a young lawyer falsely accused of murder. Pidge had been a high school student gone missing. Hunk had been a gamer, accurately accused of murder. Lance himself had done a two episode arc as the brother of a murder victim. That was before they’d all been hired on Voltron, though.

Shiro leaned over from the other side of Keith. “You don’t recognize him?”

“No,” Lance whispered. “Who-” But Shiro shook his head, looking toward the front of the room. Voltron’s showrunner, Sanda, had taken her place at the head of the table.

So yesterday I attended Walker Stalker Con for the SOLE reason to meet Steven Yeun (and so he could sign my Sheith ita bag). The whole day I was lowkey nervous about how he’d react to my bag (and the ship), so I brought my RTR Keith book /just/ in case he didn’t feel comfortable signing it.

I wait in the autograph line for about 2 hours (at this point, almost 3) and it isn’t until I’m ONE person away that I get the butterflies, “Oh no, I’m next.” What if he doesn’t like my bag, what if he cringes!?!?!? So my turn is next, I say hi and shake his hand. I stumble out something about if he’s ok with signing my Shiro and Keith bag (would he even know the ship name??) He goes “Sure!”. But O.M.G, his friendly tone /quickly/ changed to that of a kid on Christmas morning when I lift up the bag to him; “Oh RAD. Fuck /yeah/” were the FIRST things to come out of his mouth after seeing my Sheith bag. (I was fucking beaming, y'all. Omg) he took a couple minutes to really look at all the charms and asked me where people keep getting all this “cool art” from. (Guys. He’s aware of our fanart.) And then he fuckin’ WIPS OUT HIS PHONE going, “I gotta take a picture.” And what the hell am I gonna say? No? (Pssshh) I hold it upright for him and goes, “No, I want you /in/ the photo. >;3” (fbwiskfbeidndOK SuRe) so he takes his photo. (My face and ita bag are in his gallery files rn..omfg..) after that it’s time for him to sign, he starts looking for a good spot to sign it..and even after /all/ that just happened, I STILL ask him, “I hope you don’t mind the pairing.” And y'all..he was sincere when he answered, “No, not at all!” (♡♡♡♡♡)

I rarely hear about his interactions with VLD fans and ZERO for any kind of shippy interactions.

He was /nothing/ but sweet and fun/excited when he took the time to look at all the charms and compliment our fandoms artists.

That is an interaction I will definitely /never/ forget. ♡

Different Reality Sheith Lovechild Sven AU

I know Sven is a respectable nod to the original Shiro from 80s voltron, yes I know, and in canon, Sven is Different REality! Shiro 

but indulge me here. My first impression is Sven with his rocking mullet and Shiro’s chin was  ‘Is he………a Sheith child’

and yes I gave Shiro Matt’s clothes because I had no idea whatsoever. He could be….different reality Rebel leader or smth

My first attempt at an edit!! ;0; Keith and Shiro tried to make cookies and… ended up burning the whole batch. ;; You can just hear Shiro saying, ‘we can try again!!’
