I’m gonna sound like an asshole but Miguel does a lot of complaining about his financial situation and future in college, but I haven’t seen this dude bring up having a job ONCE. Like come on man, Robby probably started hustling when he was way younger than you.

Sam hearing Tory’s voice in her sensory deprivation tank dream was the gayest moment in the series, and probably my fav sequence so far.

Miguel’s dad plot was extremely underwhelming.

Pretty controversial but I completely agree with Sam on the break up decision. You can’t just disappear from the country and expect everything to go back to normal. A certain trust has been broken and tbh they BOTH need a lot of time apart and to work on their own shit. I don’t think they’re right together, and it feels like Miguel completely forgot about the fights they’d been having even before the S4 finale.

Does anyone else think it was kind of fucked up for Daniel to drag Mike back into this mess with Silver, and it caused Mike to literally lose his business (THAT HE CO OWNS WITH HIS FATHER IN LAW)?????

Johnny has become my last favorite character and I swear the writers must favor him to an insane degree. It doesn’t make sense how much he gets away with shit.

Tbh I would’ve rewritten S4 finale and have Robby win, and Sam win. Sam could still be consumed with Tory and karate even after being the champion, that’s how much it fucked with her head. And Robby would have the win he deserves after being robbed in S1. And Tory would have extra pressure and guilt to be loyal to the dojo and Silver after losing even with a paid referee.

So I have like this really cheesy keenry idea where Tory is (clearly) very much traumatised by Kim and she is having a really hard time letting people touch her, but specifically the hand that she used to break the stone. She gets tense as soon as anyone gets too close to her and she flinches when Johnny or Daniel try to correct her posture or her limbs. So, one day Tory is sitting on the mat in Mijagi Do while she waits for everyone to arrive (yes, she likes to be early to everywhere she goes) and Robby sits by her side, chatting for a little while before he comments on her situation. She doesn’t flinch when Robby is near, she never does, but she is surprised when he very gently grabs her hand and kisses her knuckles, specifically the scar on them. He promises her that everything will be alright, and she rests her head on his shoulder while he caresses her hand with his thumb. The real definition of ✨you drew stars around my scars✨

This show doesn't give a damn about any kid that is not Miguel and it shows.

I was rewatching season 4 and 5 of Cobra Kai and I noticed in season 4, episode 7, Carmen and Johnny never once stopped to think on how Robby would feel about them dating. More specifically, Johnny. The whole time they were overwhelmed on how Miguel would feel. And there was Johnny stressing out on how he wants to become a good role model for Miguel and whatnot. Then in season 5, viewers don’t even see Johnny outright mentioning (in a proper way) to Robby that he’s in a relationship with Carmen, besides him saying that he wants him and Miguel to become a family because the two of them still have their issues with each other. And when Robby finds out about the baby all of the sudden he’s thrilled about it…uhm okay.
