Description:

Eryn Rowling has been seeing strange things in the shadows and he can't explain it. Everyone else seems oblivious to it but he can't ignore it.

The things start getting more and more obvious and the people around him are getting more and more oblivious.

After a few weeks of seeing these things, he gets sucked into their world. He gets welcomed to their world with open arms and a lot of acceptance.

But strange things are happening in their world too, and it's up to him to help.

I actually first watched this episode when I was 6 years old. It was so good it stayed in my brain for 10 years and then I re watched it yesterday.

“The Doctor In The Photo” is an insanely good episode ANSFJSKSJASJSKS.

We take a deep dive into Brennan’s psyche.

Brennan’s emotional stability is absolutely wrecked, which causes her to have a big-ass existencial crisis and, for a moment, it seems as if she is about to lose her mind.

MICAH.

All of the parallels between the victim’s life and her own, which forces her to look into her own life in a way she probably never has.

This exchange between her and the man who was in love with the victim, when she clearly spoke out of her own experience with Booth:

“She should’ve given us a chance. What did she have to lose?”

“Nothing, she had nothing to lose. She knew that. It was her biggest regret.”

Brennan realizing she is not the victim, despite how similar their lives are.

Her love confession to Booth not being your typical ‘I love you’ but something more raw like “I don’t wanna have any regrets”.

She is heartbroken because now he is the one who turned her down, but at the same time she is relieved because she allowed herself to feel something, even if it was sadness.

“Three days for the world to turn right side up again” is a cultural reset on its own tbh.
