There is no joy like the joy of a writer who has just figured out that a throwaway line they put into the first few paragraphs of a story is actually the key to a major plot point and possibly even the theme underlying the entire thing.

Here we have a no context Raph and Leo comic... Just wanted to draw interesting g/t poses/interactions and expressions (Leo's fine, he was just caught off guard and reactive bc of sleep deprivation [bc sleep deprivation can impact mood and emotional regulation]).

And here we have a swiftly-made, goofy lil comic of April seeking advice from the turts, who misunderstand her question in a wholesome way lol <3 (Context in case the comic is confusing: They'd all hung out together in the city that day. April had tried on some outfits while they shopped, some of which were formal outfits she considered buying for prom, some of which were just for fun like a Gengar onesie. She didn't get anything bc she couldn't decide, and when they arrive home she asks what look [as in formal outfit] they liked best on her so she can go back and buy it for the dance. The bros misunderstand and think she's asking what expression/behavior/moment they liked seeing from her that day. I just think it's so sweet and wholesome when people enjoy seeing their loved ones happy and having fun and are unashamed to admit it <3)

Wow. I actually didn’t know about this despite watching all these shows. It’s crazy to think there was an attempt by Cartoon Network creatives to make this action universe. Do I think it would’ve worked? Well it’s all hypothetical so it’s anyone’s guess how this would’ve turned out.

But knowing the reason this didn’t happen because of CN real actually makes me upset.
