It was so fun coming up with the designs of Mounders as the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and Bdubs as Famine may be one of my favorites. He definitely won't spit into your drink. Unless you annoy him.

Morgue Mound Motel creation update:

It's going great so far! 7/10 chapters are finished, and after the remaining 3 are done, I'll go over everything once more, fix some mistakes, add a bit of content I forgot, and everything will be ready for release.

I really want to publish it right away but since I already announced the release date for August 1st, I have to keep it now TwT

But how about a little teaser? Like... Hints on all the chapter names?

(They will be mostly covered up so reading them won't reveal everything to you, but just in case you want to avoid any spoilers, I'll put them under the spacer.)

I waited so long to finally announce this story and here it is! Mark your calendars for August 1st!

Morgue Mound Motel - my new Life series fanfiction coming out August 1st!

Hi guys! I'm so excited to announce that after a few weeks of work, I can finally confirm that my newest Life series fanfiction, Morgue Mound Motel, will start releasing on ao3 on August 1st 2025.

The story (as well as the whole AU built around it) follows Pearl, Mumbo, Bdubs and Joel (Mounders my beloveds), who run a facility known as Morgue Mound Motel. Sounds easy enough, but when you take into account that the place is visited by people who had passed away and are awaiting judgement, and that the staff of the place are the Four horsemen of the apocalypse, it seems like anything but simple. Especially when one day they make a discovery that turns upside down everything they knew about the place they run.

What can you expect from the story?

+40k words across 10 chapters

New chapter every Monday and Friday of August, with the final one releasing on September 1st

For shipping enjoyers: get ready for a copious amount of Jizzie (and people who enjoy Ahasbands, Ethubs or Shinyduo will also find something to enjoy)

If you enjoy the story, there is a potential for more future installments in this universe!
