Tjolöholm Castle
A century-old tudor inspired country house built 1898-1904 by Swedish architect Lars Israel Wahlman. The castle is open for visits and offers overnight stays in the former workers’ housings as well as the old gatehouse. Famous from Danish film director Lars Von Trier film Melancholia shot at the castle. ❚

A small lake hidden up in the forest at 90m above sea level in rugged terrain with a beautiful bench structure with an integrated fireplace for barbecuing. There's also a stair just to the right of the road leading up to the top of the mountain with a great view of the whole lake and its surroundings. ❚

A beautiful green, and on the seaside rocky, little islet located in the very beginning of the fjord (from the mainland), offering the most scenic view of the whole inlet out to the sea with the surrounding mainland of Onsala, Åsa and all the tiny islands along the way. Also one of the most popular places to go for a swim in the summer. ❚
