beauty is there if you stop and recognize it

-hundreds of cars drive through this highway intersection everyday. I’ve driven past this spot thousands of times since I moved to western pa 4 years ago. It’s been here, all along, every year.

I wish that it didn’t take for me to get angry to see through the rose lenses, see through the code. But if there’s anything that I’ve learned throughout my short 25 years of living, it’s that my “I hope” will turn into “God thank You for listening”

I ask that You help me to trust You entirely for the rest of the year. Please remind me to stay consistent and to carry my cross. Remind me to be thankful of the position that I play in this life time and please remind me that You have me where I am for a reason. If it looks like it’s falling apart, if you don’t understand, it’s the beginning. God, Father in Heaven, I truly feel the most dread about my future. I try to play it off;but seem to come across as an ungrateful airhead. You’ve always take. Care of me so please help me to recognize the way that You want me to continue walking in.

You should be starting a recipe book. I don't give a shit if you're only 20-years-old. The modern web is rotting away bit by bit before our very eyes. You have no idea when that indie mom blog is going down or when Pinterest will remove that recipe. Copy it down in a notebook, physically or digitally. Save it somewhere only you can remove it. Trust me, looking for a recipe only to find out it's been wiped off the internet is so fucking sad. I've learned my lesson one too many times.
