I do, however, have the questions that will help you find answers within yourself. We all have the answers within ourselves- we just need the patience, time, and safe environment that will allow us to find those answers. J9 Counseling and Consultation is that place.

Therapy

Have you ever been to a counseling agency and felt intimidated, felt like just another number, pressured into trying something you weren't sure of, or pushed into appointment slots that were inconvenient and restricting? That will not happen at J9 Counseling and Consultation. You are in charge. My job is to help you with your goals, not to dictate them to you. Weekly, bi-weekly, whatever works for you! J9 Counseling and Consultation is also located in a home office with a private entrance, which allows for great flexibility of scheduling. Had a bad day and need a last minute appointment? Not a problem. I can accommodate many situations typical agencies cannot. Couples counseling and family counseling are also available.

Divorce Mediation

I am a trained mediator and a practitioner within CCND - the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce. In conjunction with a lawyer, I can help you reach mutually agreed upon solutions through open and balanced communication, increase the cooperative relationship with your spouse post-divorce, and help you to create a post-divorce scenario that supports the emotional well-being of the children.
