I stopped paying attention to the actual fnaf games coming out since the ruin dlc, and after seeing several posts of people in all caps complaining about secrets of the mimic I think I picked a good time to stop caring lol

Oh yeah last night I had a dream where I had a split personality, and my evil personality was just me but in a steampunk like trenchcoat. What does this say about myself

Just watched the distant lands episode where Finn dies and why is New Death and Mr. Fox literally just Death and Finley.

Did TOH and GF even have a crossover to begin with? I know there's the theories that it takes place in the same universe but we didn't see anything in either show did we?

Also I thought about it for a bit and I realized that Death and the Lich are actually so similar. They both want to bring about the extinction of life and are very spooky and powerful skeleton guys.

Deaths design was difficult to make cause wanted him to be wearing rags and and stuff but I ended up thinking about it's character and gave it one big design detail that foreshadows its origin (which I revealed in R.E.M. 2 btw.) Can you guess what it is?

It's been a while since I've drawn Finley before he became Death and also smiling. To balance out his happiness, I made an angsty drawing of him and Death.

Also Xavier's curley and messy hair is so fun I love drawing it.

Fun fact about Finley's design, I had the dream his story is based on my last year of high school and we had just begun reading Macbeth. In my dream, the two warriors were straight up Macbeth and Banqou with Macbeth becoming Finley, and Banqou becoming Xavier. Finley's design is essential the same design for how I drew Macbeth for a project I had to do on the play for school way back in 2023. I also headcanon Finley being Scottish and him speaking with a slight accent.

This is also why Finleys headcanon voice is Hamlet, because it's another Shakespeare play. I actually looked up clips from the Macbeth movies to use as Finley's hc voice, but none of actors really sounded like how I imagined him sounding like

I watched the adventure time finale and teared up like 3 different times omg

Adventure Time and Steven Universe really do have the best soundtracks in any cartoon. Rebecca Sugar is a musical genius.

Here's some more R.E.M. lore changes.

The concept of Lady Irene's backstory is the same, but what happened is way different. The tower that Irene, Sam, and Arin went to was actually the two Time Gods Temple, but because the two gods have been banished for centuries, the tower is deserted. The three found the key and when they went through the door it brought them to the mirror world which the gods of the Past and Future created to hide from Creation, Harvest, and Death (which didn't work.)

The three explore the tower which has no people, but does have a lot of ancient artifacts Sam and Arin try to steal. The tower is a labyrinth with traps Past and Future created, but the three got to the top floor where they did find someone. The saw a large figure with antlers over a small pool of purple liquid. As they got a closer look the saw that the purple liquid was an algimation of screaming souls. Sam dropped one of the artifacts he had and the figureturned and chased them.

Irene was still left behind and the figure, aka Death, caught her. He brought her back to the tower and locked her in one of the rooms. As it walked around the Tower, Death found the key Sam and Arin had lost, and decided to hold onto it. Death hatched a plan and let Irene out of her prison. He pretended to care for her and raised her to be the person she became. He told her that her friends left her behind on purpose and that she was lucky he saved her. Irene believed that Sam and Arin still have the key and locked her in this world to get rid of her. Death had a plan to use Irene to steal people's souls to anger Creation and Harvest since he hated them. 

Death could leave the tower into the regular world because he was a God, Irene was unable to without the key unless she died. After years went by, Death told her that he could kill her and put her soul back into her body, along with giving her the power to get revenge against Sam and Arin when they were back in the real world. Irene agreed and they did just that. 

The reason why Irene is so protective of Cole is because she sees herself in him a lot. She thinks Ivan  left Cole behind just as Sam and Arin left her behind all those years ago. In her mind, she thinks she is protecting Cole by getting rid of his emotions and free will so he won't get hurt.

One more detail is when Finley kills Death, it drops and key which Finley takes. One of the witches escapes and informs Irene that a human had slain Death so she sends her witches after them. She knows Death isn't completely dead, just trapped in Finley so she wants Finley to either be killed or brought back so she can figure out what to do with him.
