i've only watched the first ep of the newsreader s3 and just. gah. anna torv is just SO good at bringing you into a moment and helen's emotions. the awkwardness and dread when she finds out about the schedule change is tangible.

despite the fact i have many shows i need to catch up on (i have finally started the newsreader s3 and finishing svu) i would like to watch a specific type of show very beloved to me: solving crimes and falling in love show.

like modern shows just aren't doing it like the mid 2000s multi season slow burn will they wont they, get together before they get cancelled shows. im thinking suits. im thinking castle. im thinking doctor blake mysteries. give me ur recs please.
