Albert Einstein, Physics, 1921: Einstein was awarded the prize for his theoretical theories and his discovery of the law of the “photoelectric effect.” In 1905, Einstein considered that light has a nature of both a wave and a particle. This lead to the development of “photons,” or photo electrons, which gave light a wave-particle duality. Now it must be noted that Nikola Tesla wasn’t just a theoretical physicist like Einstein, but was an experimental physicist as well. In 1896, Nikola Tesla was the first to propose that radiation had both particle-like and wavelike properties in experiments with radiant energy. He set up targets composed of different types of substances, and shot his cathode rays at which upon reflection, projected particles, or vibrations (waves) of extremely high frequencies. Nikola Tesla preceded Einstein by 4 years on the photoelectric effect publishing a patent titled “Apparatus of the Utilization of Radiant Energy.” filed in 1901. Tesla had a far better understanding on the matter than Einstein.

as the end of 2018 is getting near...

I know what it’s like to desperately cling to the idea that next year is gonna be better just because it’s a different year. And thinking that the beginning of a new year is a good opportunity to better yourself or start new projects is good. What I want you to know is:

Every single day is a new beginning, there’s no need to wait for the next week to come, or the next month, or the next year. You’re always free to just start. It doesn’t matter if it’s 3am, or if it’s Wednesday. You can start.

I’m sorry if this year sucked. But your day will come. That day when you will stop being sad or anxious or depressed. If you’re in that process, you’re getting there, you’re trying your best. No one wants to be sad, we all want to be happy and that’s what counts. That’s what will get you there. Hope.

I used to always cry at New Years, but because I was just so desperate, I wanted the new year to be my year, I wanted to magically become the person I wanted to be. I wanted to be happy. I wanted to get better. But next year, January 1st, I will be crying because I made it. I have mental health, I am happy at many moments every day, I have the strength to fight for my identity, I have the chance to study what I’m passionate about, I have wonderful friends and a family I love. I used to not know how to be thankful for all the things I had but now I can see everything so clearly.

So, I just want to give you strength, tell you to keep breathing. Have fun this New Years. But know that the change is within you, and it could come any day now.

Roger and his very nasty letter to "Rolling Stone" magazine

  — I can’t stand that magazine (…) One time Rolling Stone tried to write a political piece on us. I think the guy was deaf or his battery had run out. But it was very creepy. They have this very superior pseudo-intellectual approach to everything. They don’t approach anything with their senses. They were very nasty, and I wrote them a very nasty letter back, which they did print. —

warning: long story.

So my boyfriend had an ex before me. Not only was she extremely selfish and demanding, she would constantly spend his money without a second thought of how hard earned it was; back then he made less than 2k a month. In fact she spent money like it was free. (This would come into play later.)

To top it all off, she cheated on him with her ex and expected (even till NOW) to be forgiven.

And he did but after trying to work it out for a year (on his end cause entitled b*tch didn’t take it to heart), he threw in the towel and they parted ways rather amicably.
