Anyone who knows me, knows the kind of relationship my Dad & I have. I am so blessed to have someone in my life that will always fight my corner no matter how much it kills his pride, know when to let me fight on my own no matter how much it breaks his heart, love & care for me when I fail & know exactly how to build me up so I can try again. There's no doubt in my mind that I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for him. He taught me about music, about generosity, about equality, about life. Things are different now and it seems I've grown up so fast- but I will always be your little girl. And matter what man takes on the absolute impossible task of loving me, you will always come first. As the poem you once wrote me said 'you are endless sunshine on the shortest day'. Happy birthday, Dad. ❤️
