I'm half active on twitter. (Aka I'm mostly active when Jaijin does stuff.) But if you look through my recent followers I think there are a few active accounts. why did zandd (korean america) have such a huge watermark like come on 😵‍💫 they have a crazy amount of pictures and what's nice is that they have pictures of all members of a group for one editorial but those two huge ass watermarks kinda ruin it, i get it but still a ''z&d'' would have done the job !!

Hahaha I know, a lot of websites were like that actually. I have so many photos with SHINHWADONGWANFAN86 ON TRIPOD DOT COM plastered across it. Honestly when it's been 20 years and it's a simple scan and there is random writing across it I just use my photoshop skills to edit them out. A lot of my posts are zandd photos that I've blocked out and redrawn parts of. 😭

The reason is that scanners were less common back then and people wanted you to go to THEIR sites specifically.

I totally know what you mean 😭 Unfortunately there is just 0 group content coming out at the moment. Suwon is traveling and Jaeduck has disappeared off the face of the Earth but Jiwon is doing his TV shows and Jaijin is doing a lot of fan projects so... Everyone seems split into their individual biases right now. I think we'll all meet back up together when (if) we get a comeback 😭

i've tried so many times to deep dive into the hidden archives of kill dsp over the past few years but so far no luck. 😔 maybe i'll have another go when i have a few spare hours.

do you ever get sad after going through old blogs of DSF? 😭 especially those that haven't gone defunct and are still up with all their messages from years ago talking about how much they miss sechskies 💔 i can't help but wonder how they're doing now.. Also the old blogs that are still up but have deleted all the content only leaving one last message behind, probably because remembering sechskies made them more sad than happy at a point. I truly hope they were happy at the reunion !! But that's also 8 years ago now... sorry for the long rant!!

yes 😭 forum posts from the 90s, early 2000s are so sad but heartwarming too. the way they talk about how sechskies changed their lives and they'll wait forever because they know they'll come back...😭 it makes me wonder what happened to them. i know a few fans who have been around since the 90s but i wonder about the others. i wish they interviewed more fans for infinite challenge. all the original fans with their babies and husbands 🥺🥺

but also there is some hilarious stuff like old fanfics and edits and threats to DSP for breaking them up. LOL

RIGHT!? isn't it crazy? this is one of the mysteries that has been bugging me for years. now we know it's true it was a com'back music video originally, why did they change it? jaijin says he doesn't remember why. (he said sometimes he forgets his own name 😭) but someone must know.

why did sechskies go to guam to shoot a mv (with the worst camera work) for summer in love, a song that isn't even popular or liked?? at times like this i wish the rumours of sm taking over sechskies had been true...

first of all- you're right. it was weird for them to release a music video for summer in love, a song that nobody likes. but you know what makes it weirder? there's no music video for com'back, the title track of the album. weird right? so my theory is that the video was supposed to be a video for com'back.

the summer in love video technically isn't a music video, it's a special video that was used as a vcr during the 2000 concert. BUT WHY? why summer in love? it makes no sense, even with the remix version.

when the summer in love music video popped up again a few years ago it turned out a lot of yellowkies didn't even know it existed (including me HAHA) but it was set to com'back rather than the official release with the vhs which was with summer in love. speaking of, there's no official upload for it... or pom saeng pom sa for that matter.

what i think is lee hoyeon, the director of dsp at the time was embarrassed. he spent 200 million won on flying the boys out to guam and getting a special director just for it to look the way it does.

yellowkies argue over it often but i personally believe it was supposed to be a com'back music video. here's the supposed original summer in love vs the one i think is the true version with com'back. idk... it's up to you to decide which you prefer.

It's embarassing for us too. I have no idea what DSP was thinking. I guess it made sense to have their idols performing multiple shows that fans could see multiple times. They would've made so much money from it. I don't know why they chose alibaba of all musicals though...

As much as it makes me want to shrivel up in a ball, it's cool that Sechskies were the first idol group to star in a musical.
