The final dragon! We encountered Samnallathanaddahn the sapphire dragon when she petitioned us for help in the World Serpent Inn with a problem that required a bit of world-hopping. In D&D lore, each dragon that has ever lived has had a unique echo on every world of the Material Plane. Samnallathanaddahn, whose home world was Faerûn, had felt her mysterious link with her echo in Eberron go dark. She tasked our party with finding out exactly what had gone wrong. To our horror, we discovered her Eberron counterpart had caught a bad case of ceremorphosis…she had become a brainstealer dragon.

Iymrith, the Doom of the Desert, was a powerful shapechanging blue dragon sorceress who made her lair in the ruins of a Netherese amphitheater deep in the Anauroch desert. She was an avid magical scholar, so she combed the Netherese city for arcane artifacts and surrounded herself with enchanted gargoyle bodyguards. Her research was focused on one goal: transcending her physical form to achieve godhood.

Ileuthra is an ancient great wyrm who serves Oghma, the God of Knowledge, on his home plane in the Outlands. Ileuthra’s love of the game of chess is legendary, and it is said that he became such a formidable opponent that he challenged Oghma himself to a three-game match. He defeated Oghma in all three games. However, because Ileuthra was no braggart, he simply thanked Oghma and offered to play another game of the god’s choice. For his great wisdom he was asked to represent all brass dragons on Protanther’s council to decide how to combat the Cult of the Dragon and the rise of Tiamat.

Firkraag, masquerading as the human noble Lord Jierdan Firkraag, made his lair in the Windspear Hills in Amn in the tomb of King Strohm the Third. During the beginnings of the Bhaalspawn Crisis, Firkraag plotted his revenge against the Harper Gorion's adopted child by baiting them into clearing his land of monsters. If they took the bait, they would find themselves besieged by the "monsters" — only to discover after the battle that their attackers were knights, both sides having been fooled by magical illusions to think they were slaying malevolent monstrosities.

Arthronax was our party's secretive patron while we were still operating out of Morgrave University in Sharn, giving us missions from the shadows in exchange for highly valuable magical items. We knew little of his goals initially — only that he was a member of The Chamber, a secret society of dragons, and he sought to steer the fulfillment of the Draconic Prophecy to his own ends. We discovered fragments of the prophecy in unexpected places like the patterns in a tiger's hide or the studies of Flamewind, Morgrave's resident librarian sphinx. His gifts to us included a Fungal Staff for our spore druid, a legendary bow called Ionbreaker for our risk consultant ranger, and a dragon-forged blade. In the end, his corrupted, villainous designs turned Morgrave into a dragon-controlled hellscape. He bent Flamewind to his will with a psionic crystal embedded in her neck and attempted to free Tiamat from her prison.

Arnaarlasha, the noble golden great wyrm, was a famed member of the Warders — a group of a dozen dragons who dedicated themselves to improving the lives of non-dragons on the continent of Argonessen, many of whom had been taken from their homes across Eberron to act as servants. Arnaarlasha helped to found the non-dragon city Io'vakas, the Gate of Knowledge, which thrived as a hub of culture, magic, and science for almost two thousand years. When rogue dragons enraged by yuan-ti heresy razed Io'vakas to the ground, Arnaarlasha sheltered the scattered survivors in her territory. She declared them free subject in the Vast and helped raise a second city which stands strong to this day: Io'lokar, the City of Knowledge.
