When the star-crossed lovers of the 74th Annual Hunger Games met their unfortunate end during a cave collapse, the Capitol and President Snow thought they'd contained the spark that had already begun. District Two was named victor of the 74th Annual Hunger Games just days later and everything seemed to be going as normal. The Capitol was placated further as the Victory Tour for Cato Hadley went off without a hitch.
However, unbeknownst to the nation, the spark wasn't completely contained. Embers continued to smolder around the districts and whispers traveled in the corners of the districts, but the Capitol had it under control. Will the Capitol continue to control the nation? Or will the rebellion make themselves known more publicly? Only time will tell, and in the meantime, the Quarter Quell is upon us. The nation waits with bated breath to find out what the Quell will host.
