Maybe a sign that they finally realise all the bullying is just backfiring and they are now doing their usual "golly gee gosh, I didn't know anything about it, I've been respectful all this time, how was I to know that pushing ylm each time he showed his face would result in my fans trying to destroy his life, relationships, family, friends (female), and career 🥺".

Not that it matters, but my theory is he wanted her to fall out of love and to break up with him because imagine if he broke up with her while she was still in love!! Things would be a million times worse. It would've been 31 songs about him.

Well for all we know maybe they were more on and off than she wanted us to believe. Maybe they were never the stable happy couple she painted. Maybe he did broke up with her many times but was too kind and loyal for his own good and kept letting her back in.

I love how this source from her is saying they're respectful of each other and then in the next breath being all but they're not in contact. So she wrote about his depression and then surprised him with the songs? Has been talking about being locked up in London and setting her fans on him, without checking in with him? That she admitted to cheating on him to everyone and started a load of discourse? Not sort to clarify that she would mostly be writing about ratty and allowing Joe to worry that swifties would be getting more ammunition? Real respectful.

She's only putting this out because people were more sympathetic to Joe than her, because she didn't anticipate that all because she lives in a world where she is always the victim in break ups.

I’m also someone who likes swifts music but feels very bad for Joe, and who always knew he was not the one to blame. I didn’t know who he was before they started dating but appreciated the way her drama toned down dramatically once they started dating and that her music was better than ever. I was upset at the breakup news because I figured she’d revert, and boy was I right.

That being said, I do also like TTPD and I’m glad the “angry” tracks are obviously about Matty, and that her Joe songs seem more sad than anything. Like, let Joe rest, he’s put up with more than enough.

I also think Travis is much more Taylors speed, maturity and temperament wise. Which is not a compliment to either of them.

The angry songs are about Matty. The songs about Joe are disrespectful and crosing all the boundaries of what she had the right to sing about

I really despise when Tree Payne has one of her lackeys go to the Daily Mail and pretends she is giving them some exclusive from Joe’s side. This is like the 4th time this has happened. But it’s always obvious because there is always a dig at Joe in there that his people or PR would never in their right mind say about their friend/client. I agree that she made him blue. I don't think he has clinical depression, just that he was in a low mood and uncommunicative a lot towards the end of their relationship, and Covid disrupting his career probably had a lot to do with it (she seems to have totally forgotten Covid happened btw). And instead of trying to understand him, she smothered him due to her insecurities which drove him further away.

I actually believe she did everything to make it work because she was so terrified of losing him. The irony is that he just needed some space to breathe and probably also just wanted her to respect his desire for privacy while he didn't stop her in her pursuit of infamy. Like if she'd just let go before she got resentful, it might have worked out or at least ended better (I still think their values are incompatible).

Nahh, they always were and always will be fundamentally incompatible as humans. Nothing could have saved this relationship. Maybe make it last longer and get even more miserable together. But no one needs that .

😭 I’ve been thinking about this and it makes me so sad for him. She kept going after him over and over and over again with the final act, blaming him for her cheating and needing to leave him and blaming it on his mental health that she more than likely caused. Cruel woman. I wish I knew why he insisted on staying, but at least he’s out of this relationship now and can find someone that will protect his heart. And anon is right, the color is back in his face, and the smile is back on his face, so there is no doubt he is doing better without her.

She is a bully and she incited her cult to bully him on her behalf. And even after all the hell Joe went through he is looking better and happier now that he is free.

I did a quick twitter search to see if anyone mentioned seeing ratty out in cork and all I've found so far is that apparently his mom and aunts were in cork with him. Which makes it really funny she's imagining him out hooking up, she's so insecure about all her exes (also what did she expect from Ratty? He was obviously going to move on immediately. He has a lot of women fawning over him -god knows why- and their fling wasn't some sort of great love affair like she fantasizes'.)
