I really just don't know where all the time went. I'm 18, turning 19 soon, a freshman in college, pursuing the career which I'll take on for the rest of my life yet I still can't pin point the moment where it all changed. I remember being so young and not having a care in the world. People always tell you to appreciate your youth because it goes so fast. You're so quick to blow them off because perhaps they're too old to remember, but here I am with the shoe on the other foot. I remember being in grammar school getting so excited over what day I had gym, or when a pizza day was coming up. Being a rebel meant dressing down without a N.U.T card or speaking up to a teacher. High school came and went and sometimes I wonder if college will go just as quick. I just can't believe that I'm at the point where I'm at. It came so quick, without warning and now I'm here. I'm excited for the future but I always look back at how things used to be and miss it - the good and the bad. But in years am I gonna look back at the place I'm at now and realize that I have it made as I type this? Maybe the grass is always greener on the other side or maybe hindsight is just 20/20. I don't know what to expect; but I expect it all.
