Devon - 1973 Summer holiday in south Devon, staying at Kingston with visits to Wonwell Beach, The Beacons Riding School, then back to Chalgrove and off to the Royal Windsor horse show and display by the Coldstream Guards.

The Lake District - 1972 A trip to the Lakes with Tina and Mingo, which also included meeting up with the Hepworths (plus Andy the terrier) and the Evans clan. Based at Brocklecrag with day trips to Derwent Water from Cat Bells, Bassenthwaite Lake, Derwent Water, Tarn Hows, Grasmere, Irton Road and Eskdale Green.

Bucks & London - 1963 Judie’s 7th Birthday Party at Playdell, followed by a trip to London later that year to see the Christmas lights and Harry Secombe in the Pickwick musical and Around the World in 80 Days on ice
