CONTEXT:

first off, this is the story of MY mc, and her story is WAY different than that of the mc in the actual game.

Like the mc in the game, she also has very low self-worth and deep rooted self-esteem issues, which affects the relationships around her negatively.

in the case of Crowe, she doesn't even deem herself worthy of being his friend, and is looking at him through rose-tinted glasses, never facing the reality of him being a normal human being (fun fact: if she were in a healthy headspace, she wouldn't even like him romantically. but because of her mental problems and current situation, she sees him as her saviour, leading to her infatuation (not actual love)).

Crowe desperately wanted to be her friend, but never got the chance to, since her illusion of him always created an emotional distance between them, which continued until she died protecting him from sol, who tried to shoot him at the very end of the story (Although Crowe's little (friend?)crush isn't born from the healthiest place either. i might explore their story in another comic).
