C.S. Pacat just confirmed in a book fair in Mexico that the last pages of the third book of the Dark Rise trilogy will be finished this week!!!!!

The characters will apparently also move to a new location, and the ending of Book 3 will be even more explosive and shocking than the ending of Dark Heir!

i feel like devon's storyline is so underrated like a being from the light joining the dark side bc thats the only way of him being able to go back to the old world, being literally the only thing left from that old world.. bc yes sarcean was "defeated", but he still saw everyone and everything he knew die and lived through it all, lived ten thousand years in a world that knew nothing about magic and about what had happened i mean.. thats peak literature
