Any updates on a release date for the Duke and the Dragon?

The main one is that I’m the worst and I got very frustrated with my own plotting, reworked the end, then got frustrated with that and reworked it again. The book is about 4/5ths written, but now it has to be reconfigured into the plot I’m actually happy with and I have to plug in the bits I salvaged from old drafts with new bits that are shinier and better. And, frankly, sexier.And then the holidays came along and mucked everything up. So, while I’d hoped to get to the end by the end of this year, that’s right out the window.On the plus side, I will say I think the book I’m writing now is many times superior to the book that would’ve been written if I’d managed to finish it as originally plotted.Q1 2018 is the new goal. Sorry for the vagueness and above all, sorry on the delay. I don’t like missing deadlines anymore than you like not reading books!

Do you have a mailing list and when is the next jade book coming?

I don’t have a mailing list, but it is something I know I need to get up and running. Beyond writing, developing a personal site and mailing list is my major goal for this year.

DJC 2: The Duke and the Dragon is in process. I’d like to say it’ll be done being written November of this year. That’s ambitious but achievable. It’ll probably come out later than that, because of edits and how Amazon works, but that’s my target--a year between full-length novels.
