Church and Tucker are such clingy best friends, but the funny part is that they both think the other guy is the clingy one. Church is like, yeah, that clingy jackass is always asking me what i'm doing with the sniper rifle, and Tucker's like, yeah, that clingy bastard's always asking for piggyback rides, and Church is like, yeah, Tucker probably hates me but he always does what i say anyhow--get in the teleporter, bitch, and Tucker is like, yeah, Church probably hates me, but i'm always the first one he asks for help with anything--that guy couldn't do jackshit around here without me, and Church is like, every time i die, Tucker is up my ass about how much of a hassle it is to save me but he always does it anyway, and Tucker is like, i can't believe that asshole keeps coming back from the dead to hang out with us, he's like a bad ghost penny, and the angriest Tucker has ever been with Church, despite all the shit he's been put through because of that clingy bastard, was when Church left with Carolina, and when Church finally chooses the when and how he dies for the last time, he can't think of a better place than aqua armor, side by side with that clingy jackass from the canyon.

i will never get over the fact that South tells Meta that she's shot Washington and left a timed charge on his body, so if he wants the equipment, then he better get it fast, and somehow Washington makes it back to command decidedly not exploded and with York's healing unit--despite the fact that Meta has indiscriminately stolen every other piece of freelancer equipment he's come across. i will never get over Meta using Wyoming's time distortion unit to slow down time, level a pistol point-blank at Washington, full body flinch and not take the shot. i will never get over Meta and Washington's banter while they searched for Epsilon, the fact that Washington can understand him even without a voice, even now, when he's this (he never needed Sigma, he never needed Sigma). i will never get over the fact that the last of Maine didn't die when he tossed Carolina off a cliff, or when he started hunting down the other freelancers, or when he had all the AI erased from his head and got left in an empty husk of armor with useless equipment. the last of Maine died when he took Epsilon. the last of Maine died when he betrayed Washington. the last of Maine died and the last thing Washington ever said to him was, "I always knew you'd do this." because he actually didn't know. Meta would have betrayed anyone, everyone, but not Maine. not Washington. but Washington will never know how hard Maine had to fight to be Maine, to leave him alive. he'll forever think Maine died killing Carolina, and the only thing left was the Meta and inevitable betrayal. he'll never know. the last of Maine died when he betrayed Washington.

[Image ID: A screenshot of a post by CarolAnn Barrows. It reads:
"Japanese researchers have found a possible explanation for long COVID. They discovered that small fragments of the coronavirus's genetic material can remain deep behind the nose, in an area called the epipharynx, for at least six months after infection. These viral remnants irritate the immune system and may cause fatigue, coughing, dizziness, and "brain fog." The researchers used an old Japanese treatment called epipharyngeal abrasive therapy (EAT), where the area is swabbed once a week with a cotton swab dipped in 1% zinc chloride solution. After three months, the patients showed:
- significantly fewer viral remnants
- lower levels of inflammatory substances
- noticeably reduced symptoms
The treatment appears to both remove the lingering virus and calm the inflammation. A larger clinical trial is now underway in Japan to confirm the results. This discovery could lead to more targeted treatments that address the root cause of long COVID symptoms instead of merely managing them."
