undertale updates fixed a bunch of errors and glitches as well as adding lore (clam girl, ‘don’t forget’ drawing,…) but I’m so glad that they also included ‘papyrus has gaster blasters too’ for no reason other than to specify he also has really cool magic attacks

Toriel stares out the kitchen window, her paws going numb as she holds them under the cold stream pouring from the faucet. The dishes, sparkling clean and freshly rinsed, sit neatly within their respective slots of the drying rack on the counter. It’s quiet. Her favorite mug, a purple one in the shape of a giant snail with googly eyes, sits precariously close to the edge of the countertop, peering up at her with an upside-down smile. Nothing of interest holds her attention on the other side of the glass, yet she cannot find a reason to tear herself away from the window or shut off the flow of water. The faucet hisses. Toriel’s mind is as empty as her gaze, as numb as her fingers.

A knock at the door. Toriel jumps, elbows her mug off the countertop, catches it before it shatters on the tiles. She frowns. Several clumps of her soaked fur now cling to the snail. She’ll need to rewash it.
