things i want in season eight

rosa and holt having to babysit mac and not knowing what to do but they have too much pride to ask for help, lots of parallels between when jake and amy babysat terry’s twins

jake terry and charles being dads

macs first word is ro-ro and charles will die mad about it, amy and jake think it’s hilarious

or it’s some version of cheddar

looking into rosa and jake’s time at the police academy

first peralta-santiago thanksgiving with amy’s entire family there, jake calls holt and kevin to come because his parents can’t make it

amy becomes a lieutenant

kevin and holt vow renewal

a two or three episode mafia bust where amy or jake is in trouble and then the other one has to go to work so scully and hitchcock end up babysitting because no one else can and they are very good at it? for an unknown reason? and mac loves them?

the cliffhanger is tied into the mafia bust maybe? like a season two-three type cliffhanger

Brooklyn nine nine seasons 6 and 7 just weren’t as good as 1-5

While I’m glad nbc picked up the show, the vibes are just completely different. I can count on one hand the number of times I properly laughed at jokes and cold opens in seasons 6 and 7 combined. Also the whole ‘bleep’ thing is getting rlly overused to the point where it’s annoying.

I hate how I’m feeling this way because I love love LOVE b99 and all the characters but the latest seasons just ain’t it and I hope season 8 is either the last or 2nd last season so it’s not ruined
