In Gaza, young Janat, a 16-year-old girl, lives with her 14-year-old sister Lana and their mother, Majeda Hemaid. The family lost their source of income years ago and now endures a life of constant displacement due to conflict. They have moved multiple times—from west to east, and then south in search of safety—until they eventually settled in a simple tent that barely protects them from the harsh winter cold or the intense summer heat.

Despite her young age, Janat has taken on the responsibility of managing a campaign to support her family. She and her sister Lana dream of a brighter future and a chance for an education that could transform their lives. As winter approaches, Janat is appealing to kind-hearted people to help her family survive the cold and continue her journey toward hope and the dream of studying abroad.
