Some random facts I've been thinking about while trying to expand on the concept

- Uses his old hunting rifle that has a bayonet attachment. He is unsure if the rifle even works at this point as he hasn't been bothered to buy any ammo for it.

- Some other effects of his genetic modifications include a heightened sense of hearing, sharper than usual teeth (and extra teeth), and some dietary restrictions. He often forgets about what exactly he can't eat

- Will do almost anything to avoid doing paperwork, or most work assigned to him in general. He often avoids the work he's supposed to do by talking or helping the other sinners. Early on he would definitely blow off Dante's commands outside of combat. Not to the point where Verg would have to get involved, but enough to be an annoyance to Dante and some of the other sinners. Does slowly get better, but it usually takes some prodding to get him going.

- Really heavy sleeper, to the point where he could be thrown off his seat and still be asleep. During the bus's time on the great lake some of the sinners made bets on what exactly Rip could sleep through, this probably resulted in him being stabbed by Ryoshu while he slept, it took him half a minute to fully wake up after being stabbed.

I've been brewing on a limbus OC based on Rip Van Winkle, but still need to iron out details about him. What I have so far is:

- Is 63 years old with greying hair, claims to be 23. (The timeskip would be 40 years instead of 20 years like the og short story)

- Was a part of the old G-corp, joined right after it was founded and when the district was still being developed.

- When old G-corp was first experimenting with their singularity they had augments of various other animals, not just insects. Rip has augments based on hunting dogs (gave him a enhanced sense of smell, along with other things), though he says "he's part wolf".

- After he drinks and "sleeps" for 40 years, he awakes to find old G-corp gone, and that he missed the smoke war. Oh, and that he has no idea where his family is

- Would join Limbus Company after nearly being killed due to being found in the nest of new G-corp without proper paperwork and wearing the insignia of old G-corp

- Says his wish is to find his family, but is using the company as both his meal ticket and a way to actually avoid looking for his family. As he thinks that he can just coast along helping the company with whatever its goals is/helping the other people in his department first, and that he doesn't have to put any effort into finding his family since "the company is handling it"
