What is K1M1K0 and Who am I?

Hi there, this is gonna be a long introduction post so feel free to ignore…

Hi there! I’m uhh….yk what…my name’s not of importance, but i always wanted to get into writing and i came up with a cool concept for a story im writing and this will be the Blog Documenting my journey!

Im currently still in a very early brainstorming phase, im writing a many pages long worldbuilding document explaining the backstory and all the major concepts, objects and characters on said world, a lot of the story behin this world’s creation won’t be present in the story, but it helps me get a clear understanding of the world i created, so i have a solid foundation i can return to while writing so i stay true to my plans. + coming up with a fictional world with a backstory, fictional technology and Companies down to a minute detail is just straight up fun!

Now… what even is this story about?

Well K1M1K0 (placeholder name) is a story about a post apocalyptical world after it’s collapse due to an inevitable AI takeover in the near/far future. This world is inhabited by the children of ruin, the generation of humans born after the war, after the collapse, people who only know this world in ruins (hence the name). There aren’t many of them, as a postapocalyptical world isn’t necessarily a great place to have kids in, but they exist in small numbers and their lifestyle has accustomed to said conditions, it’s their day to day life after all.

Our story follows a (for now) nameless protagonist, a young guy (whose personality I still haven’t quite fully figured out yet) as he stumbles upon an old pre-war prototype of a new model of androids by K1K Technologies that never came to release. This android was supposed to be a peaceful revolution in technology being almost identical to a human being and completely lifelike, yet a certain decision by a single man brought ruin upon the world before it ever came to be.

The majority of the plot will be based on these two characters nameless and the pacifistic android living in a hostile violent world doing [spoiler], but over time nameless may realize that there was more to this android behind the scenes than it seemed and there may be hope after all.

That’s about my idea/plan for now, i got a base idea of where i want the story to start, some key points i want happening and how it should end, but everything in between including a lot of the carrying dynamic between the two protagonists is still something im figuring out atm, but for now im still writing a way too detailed backstory of all the fictional technology this world had and how this apocalypse came to be in the first place.

I am really looking forward to creating it, but as of writing this im on vacation and can’t even write, i was just laying in bed in the evening and decided: „i wanna make a tumblr blog about my writing journey“ so even while writing this post i already made up some new lore for this plot.

I hope people may be interested in what i have in mind, so if you find this whole thing intruiging, you can share it with people if you want, but you don’t have to!
