it's time to m o v e on
Somewhere along the line, Jason started to feel like he didn't belong there anymore, that they needed to move on. Sometimes he would get this feeling if they'd been in once place for too long just sitting, not doing anything. That's how Jason felt. He needed to move forward, go somewhere else and even the thought of sitting in town for much longer would make him feel anxious to the point where he couldn't focus anymore.
The secret had been kept for a while but after the graduation, he couldn't keep it anymore. They were both close to Helen, Adrian more than himself but he wanted to see all of the graduate. Helen, Nikita, Callie -- the people who he considered to be his friends, the people who he thought he'd build the army with. However, that didn't happen. Instead, after eating pizza, they decided to leave. A week. They were giving each other a week to pack and move on.
The hardest part wasn't packing. The hardest part was saying good bye. After staying for about two years, it was hard to break those bonds, not see them every day but life had calmed down in Beacon Hills. It seemed like they were out of the path of the storm. There was no more battle, no more fight, no more lose and Jason was okay with that. With all of his books, all of his bags, all of his personal items, Jason was left with one task; saying goodbye.
He went to each person, spending some time with them as he said his goodbyes, making sure that each of them had his number. He told Daphne to keep her head up, accept help and he was confident she would have control. Helen he told to have a good life, have fun with her boyfriend and to make sure her sister was going to be alright. Words were exchanged with Callie, letting her know that everything was going to be alright, that she would bring honor to her name in the way that she wanted. She was a budding hunter and it was time to see her own way.
The second hardest good bye was Axel. No, he wasn't alive anymore. Jason knew that the man had slipped away, going into the underworld a few years ago but that didn't mean there wasn't a spot for Axel in Beacon Hills. Jason had found the crossbow a few days later, the gate closed up. Since then, the crossbow had been his, he never let anyone else have it because Jason felt like it was fate that he was shown the gate, as if the Gods were telling him what was going to happen to the old man.
In fact, Jason spent a good part of a day there, talking to the old man as if he was there. Jason needed that closure knowing how much the man was terrified of the place but yet he went there anyway. There was a part of Jason that felt the guilt riding on his shoulders because there had been a way to stop him but he wasn't there. Instead, he focused on the good right now, feeling closer to Axel more than he had since he went back to his home.
The hardest goodbye was Nikita -- someone he considered another sibling. It was hard for both but Jason was the only one who let it on. They talked to the longest, making sure that she was going to be alright, spending some time together but they both moved on. It was time for him to go. After a hug -- he insisted on it -- it was time to go.
They were leaving Beacons Hills. They were leaving and moving forward.
It was nice to move about the country, the world. It was nice to be able to see different places, use different languages again and translate for Adrian when he didn't understand something. They would move about, hunting monsters, saving people. No longer did they stay in one place for long, they always moved forward. Jason didn't want to settle down, he had no intention of it and he wasn't sure that Adrian did either. For now, he was going to life the life he knew with his brother, the life they both knew:
The life of being brothers to each other.

Title: A Song of Fire and Ice Setting: AU Species: Witch When: November 2014 - June 2015 Summary: As a witch, Jason never thought he would be drafted when World War Three broke out. On top of that, he never thought he would be captured behind enemy lines only to meet someone who would save him from being locked up after the world discovered the supernatural. Nor did Jason think he would meet the man who would become his brother.
The war was fought between two sides — those against Communism and those for it. The world was at peace until one day North Korea fired missiles at the United Sates, Japan and England. The devastation from these attacks was astronomical, changing history’s course for years to come — it would take years to fix the damage that was done. Despite the devastation to the countries, the world came together to end North Korea, starting the Third World War.
He was eighteen when he signed up for the draft. The world was in a war against each other. Some called it World War Three. Others called a revolution. Whatever it was, Jason was caught in the middle of it. He remembered walking in the front door and a grim feeling hung in the air. Jason wanted to walk back out of the house but he kept moving forward because this was a fate he couldn’t escape. It was obvious from the look on his mothers face what was happening. Much like other males in the country, he received the letter telling him he was drafted for the United States Marine Corps.
What shocked Jason the most was the branch in which he was enlisted in: Marines. Any other branch would have been fine but the fact he was going to be a Marine set an odd force around Jason. Two weeks. He had two weeks until he left and Jason was going to make the most of it. Time was spent with his family, his friends, his books and his horse. Not only that but his cat as well. Growing up, Jason always had a cat, someone who could keep him company in the time of need when no one else could. His cat, Oreo, knew secrets that no one else did like the fact that Jason could set fire to his fingers and heal people and animals.
Thirteen weeks of hell, of physical and mental challenges, of breaking down the mind and turning him into a warrior. Thirteen weeks Jason had lived on Paris Island, completing tasks the every day man couldn’t. Thirteen weeks later and Jason was allowed to call himself a Marine. Jason thought he was done crying during basic training around week four or five but the moment his Drill Instructor set the marine pin in his hand, he couldn’t help but feel the tears trickle down his face as he looked straight ahead as the words good job uttered from the mouth of the man who gave him hell for weeks. Never before did he think he would make it this far. Despite being drafted, it was one of his proudest moments in his lives. At the age of nineteen, he was a Marine.
Being a combat medic was probably not the smartest idea because Jason was sent to the front lines. His calming demeanor helped keep the wounded solders calm as they thrived in pain on the ground. Not only that but he could heal people with an utter of a few words with very little people noticing. Often times Jason was the factor between life and death for many soldiers and because of this, he received the Combat Action Ribbon.
While Jason was overseas in South Korea, the world discovered the supernatural. Werewolves, vampires, witches, shape shifters, and druids were now out in the open and everyone falling under those categories had a target on their head, even those in the military. Blood tests were completed on every member of the military try and determine who was human and who was not. Luckily for Jason, he was in the middle of North Korea near Sariwōn in the middle of a fire fight when this deceleration was declared. For those who were declared supernatural, they were discharged from the military and put into prisons, keeping them under lock and key before they could decide what to do with them.
It was while he was in the midst of the battle field that his unit was overtaken, the North Koreans taking prisoners to set an example for everyone else in the world. Four others had been taken, one who had been his battle buddy, his best friend, and three others who he had known for months since coming to his base along the 38th Parallel.
Three months with them was torturous, his physical and mental states being stretched to measures beyond his capability. Jason was taught in basic training to never give information, never put himself before his country and even now, that was engraved into his mind. Never once had he given information even when he was given the life of his best friend in his hands. Even then his magic couldn’t save them, his buddy was too far gone. There had been once when they sent a video a base in South Korea of the North Koreans making demands, showing the five marines who were taken. The government tried their hardest but their number one rule was no negotiating with terrorists. From there on out, it was search and rescue missions.
At the end of the third month, Jason was being pushed along a trail in the mountain when bullets started flying from towards them, only hitting the North Koreans. Despite having been help in captivity for all those months, he still remembered his training of jumping down and making himself as small as possible. Even when the fire fight was over, Jason stayed on the ground, no strength left to lift himself back up. It wasn’t until the hand was on his shoulder, causing the twenty year old to jump did Jason look up, seeing a dark haired male looking down at him.
"We’re bringing you home." At the thought of the words, Jason wanted to break down at the prospect of going home. The man smirked, helping Jason up, cutting the binds on his wrists and throwing his arm over the mysterious man’s shoulder. He had no uniform, no symbol of whom he was with. However, the witch knew that he didn’t have much choice but to go with him.
—-
"Look whose finally awake." Jason looked over when he heard the voice, blinking confused as everything came into focus. "Don’t give me that look. Your knight in shining armor, remember?"
It wasn’t until then did Jason realize he was the man who saved him from the mountain trail. He owed that man his life and it was something that Jason would never be able to repay him for either. “…What’re you doing here?” His voice cracked, throat dry from not being used for days.
"Making sure you’re alright and the dumbasses out there don’t take you for your…gift." The man winked as Jason looked at him about to deny what he was saying but the other man silenced him before he was able to even open his mouth. "Don’t give me that look. I know what you are. They also think I’m taking you away when you’re well enough to go. Oh right, you probably want a name. Adrian Dumont. You’re Jason Dunham."
Confusion set across his face at the sudden declaration from the male named Adrian. So many questions were going through his mind right now, trying to figure it out but he wasn’t able to think properly seeing as the pain medication and drowsiness was making his mind clouded. Jason ran a gauze wrapped hand down his face, shaking his head lightly but that only made it worse.
"Go back to sleep, brother. I’ll be here when you wake up."
Little did Jason know this man would soon become his brother, someone he could trust more than any one else in the world.

When the climax was over, Jason felt himself start to slow down as Genevieve began kissing along his neck, over his collarbone. He moaned lightly, eyes sliding closed. Once he stopped, he gently pulled away from her and dropped down to the beside her, pulling her close to him. At first he was at a loss for words, unsure if there were any of them that could match what just happened. "You're beautiful. I hope you know." Jason whispered, kissing her lightly on the lips again.

A few surprises? Do you want to talk about them?
Uh, I’ve been well, everything’s been fine except for a few surprises, but I’ll get used to them eventually.

If you're still a hero in your eyes, then you're still a hero. I guess we'll have to wait and see but I still don't think bringing people out here would be the best idea for that. Instead, we'll sit back and talk to others first. { Listening to Axel, he remained quiet, his mind working almost to fast to the point where his head was starting to hurt. Something about this didn't seem right and it felt off setting for both of them. However, he nodded. } Lets hope we don't have to go down there then. I'm sure that's a place no one wants to cross off their bucket list. I'll see you. { Jason said as he elder hunter began to walk away form Jason. Once he was out of sight, Jason looked back at the gate. He wanted to approach it but heeded he hunters warnings as well. After a few minutes, he followed Axel's trail, leading back to his car. He had a lot of work to do. }

I’m still a hero, no matter if I turned my back on that bastard or not — and right now I’m risking my head to keep them alive. Anyway, I’m pretty sure every person who’s blessed by a god, including heroes, will be able to see it — as for the other supernaturals…I really don’t know. The Royals might be able to see it ‘cause they’re close to a god but the others might only feel that something’s off around here — but don’t quote me on it. [Axel closed his eyes for a short moment after hearing Jason’s next words, and as he opened them again, he looked at the younger hero very serious] Pray to your god that we don’t have to go down there ‘cause we would never make it out again….the Labyrinth is nothing against the underworld. [For a short second there was fear in Axel’s look. He had been down in the underworld more than ones and it had been dangerous for him down there, even though Hades was still by his side — going down there now, without Hades in his corner would be a suicide mission] Yeah, I’ll call you — see you around [Axel then turned around and left the clearing. He couldn’t handle being near that gate any longer]

The feeling of someone else reaching their climax was something that Jason was more than happy he could experience with the other right now. It was calming in a way knowing that he could do this to someone. As Genevieve withered beneath him, Jason could feel himself reaching his as well. Matching her tone, he moaned out her name, his toes curling the the explosion in the pit of his stomach releasing as he climaxed mere minutes after her.

When she moaned, he sucked on her skin lightly, moaning against it as well. He wanted to desperately continue, to go with it all night but he knew that he wasn't going to be able to last all night. When her fingers started to graze against his back, he felt his skin tingle and he moaned slightly louder than before. "Mmm," He hummed into her skin, quickening his pace as he felt the build start to pile on top of each other.

Once they were closer together, Jason moaned, his lips trailing down to kiss where her neck and collarbone met each other. He loved the feeling of them together, it was like they were two long-lost puzzle pieces fitting together for the first time in a long time. As he thrusted, his mind went to how perfect she was, how much he loved her. There were no words needed to express their love for each other because they both knew. It was obvious by the way they were connected, by the way they were showing the love to each other as he moaned into her neck.

After the nod, Jason didn't move for a moment distracted by the kiss but then he started to move his hips, slowly moving in and out. To be honest, he never thought he would be here right now, laying in his bed with Genevieve underneath him as they slept together. Never had these thoughts crossed his mind but he wasn't going to complain right now either. As the kiss deepened, Jason started to move faster, growing more confident as he moaned into the kiss, pulling on her lip that snagged between his teeth.
