hello there people

uh. i’ve only had this account for over a month so this probably isn’t gonna be something big, but i’m no longer going to be posting here. 

i’m not deleting my account, but i will be logging out. i can’t see myself coming back, although it is definitely something that is possible.

this is solely for myself and nothing to do with any social issues that have happened, such as with the fandom; i still love the riordanverse and am going to remain heavily involved in the fandom.

this account takes up a chunk of my free time that i’m just not really sure i want to put into it anymore because i have other things that i really enjoy doing and want to put more focus into.

this is more general than my usual pjo content, but its seriously something that needs to be addressed;

can people as a whole just stop shitting on teenage girls for,,, having interests? every single time I open an app I see somebody shaming a young girl for enjoying things, usually games or a particular fandom, notably recently the mcyt fandom, however it spans far beyond just that.

teenage girls get shamed for liking makeup, but also get shamed for not liking makeup. they get shamed for what they eat. how they dress. what they own. every miniscule thing a teenage girl does gets criticised.

why do you care so much? what have they done to you?

if they genuinely do something problematic, educate them, but 99% of the time I see things like this happening its just an innocent girl having a conversation in tweet replies/Instagram comments/posting something they like on their account.

if you're one of those people who shits on teenage girls for enjoying non problematic things, sincerely shut the fuck up ♥️

I just think that Nico and Reyna being part of the seven in place of Annabeth and Percy would have been so cool.

Listen, I really liked Percy and Annabeth in the prophecy and thought they fit in well, their dynamic with everybody was great, but I feel like this also would have had a lot of potential.

We saw so much of Percy and Annabeth in the first series that they got their time to shine, but even still they could have done more in this fantasy version of HOO I’m imagining. 

What if Percy stayed in Camp Jupiter and agreed to run it while Reyna and Jason were absent and Annabeth was now the certified leader of Camp Half-Blood? Imagine the potential that would have had for their relationship too; it wouldn’t have been smooth sailing, rather a lot of disruption because of the rift between the two camps and a really great reunion at the end. 

I think having six entirely new characters would be great from a reading standpoint, at least in my opinion. In Nico, we’d see some familiarity from the last series, which links the two. As well, I think Percy and Annabeth would still be heavily involved, around the same level as Reyna and Nico were in the actual series.

Also, IMAGINE the duo of Reyna and Hazel. Please. The sheer power. 

As well, Reyna and Nico were probably the two most lonely and isolated people in any of the Camp Half-Blood/Camp Jupiter chronicles. Reyna had Jason who was taken away from her and Nico had Hazel, but he’d only recently found her. Imagine them finally finding some kind of comfort and true family within the seven over the five books; imagine them actually learning how to enjoy life no matter what is thrown at them.

Also, for the Jeyna shippers, imagine a Jeyna fall into Tartarus.

Leo is the type of person who’d somehow construct a huge stone castle in like an hour; his door operates through a code and some difficult redstone, he has a vault under his house where he keeps his chests and it is made of obsidian and needs a lever code to get into. Overall, it’s just really impressive.

Meanwhile, to the left of his castle, Jason is still trying to figure out whether he needs to left click or right click to mine wood and Piper has constructed a 4x4 oak shack that has 7 creeper holes outside

The image of Piper with dyed pink strips in her hair? Annabeth red strips? Bonus points if they dyed each others hair at 2am at a sleepover.

Leo seems like the type of person who’d dye his hair neon green spontaneously at 4am.

Hazel asking Frank if she can dye his hair and he caves eventually and Hazel just tells him to trust her and he ends up having rainbow multi-coloured hair and he grows to really like it.

Consider also: Percy with blue hair. Please.
