There was always something peculiar about Jaskier; he seemed immune to the passage of time, unlike others. Many attributed it to the favorable genetics of the Pankratz family.
However, it wasn't until Jaskier trailed Geralt into Brokilon Forest that doubts arose about his humanity.
As the Dryads refrained from attacking Jaskier immediately, it almost felt as if the forest itself was beckoning him, welcoming him with open arms.
